Zulu Pods in the NEWS AGAIN! 📰 🚀 In a recent Aviation Week feature, we shared details on upcoming altitude chamber tests at the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) for our self-contained oil tank and pump system, the ZPOD. Zulu Pods is advancing propulsion efficiency for missiles and Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCAs). Our self-contained ZPOD system replaces traditional fuel-oil lubrication with an air-oil mist approach—freeing up fuel for combustion instead of cooling and lubrication. The result: improved efficiency and extended range potential for attritable engines. After a 2025 ground demo showed a double-digit reduction in thrust-specific fuel consumption, we’re now preparing for altitude chamber testing at AFRL and additional engine demonstrations this spring.
