It's crazy to think that just 80 years after we literally nuked their cities, Japan is one of our closest friends and is commemorating our Independence Day with a fireworks show, while Palestinians are still mad that their great great grandparents had to move a few miles after losing a war they started and now need to murder as many people as possible for the rest of time.
Tokyo fireworks mark 250 years of U.S. independence.

Yeah, no, mate. Keep sharing it, because concerns with the officer's action appear entirely justified to me.
Replying to @BrumPolice
The incident has been reviewed, and we have no concerns over the officer's actions and we are satisfied that they were reasonable and proportionate in the circumstances. We would ask that footage is not further shared to allow the legal process to take its course.

This is an artifact of woke Aaron. Woke implored minorities to perceive everyday interactions like this as if the motivation were always sinister and racially oppressive. Instead of 'this elderly lady needs the security of the handrail', he perceives 'this white supremacist is commanding me to demonstrate my racial inferiority'. No individual or organisation in the UK did more to perpetuate this warped sickness than you and Novara Media. Once it became abundently clear that – due to your own ideological shortcomings – you'd unleashed a monster, you simply blamed 'liberals' and skipped away to pursue your next societally toxic idea. Take some responsibility for once in your life. Own your own failings. Demonstrate you can grow as a person. Race relations in the UK haven't been worse in my lifetime and you bear some responsibility for that. You should show some contrition.

How stultifying political cultures can be. Some humans can send rockets to space and catch them with chopsticks. Others can’t imagine how to stop dinghy’s full of immigrants breaking into a country.
Replying to @FUDdaily
This is a fine example of the fantasy thinking that gets pushed on this issue. "Stop the boats" - how? "Close the hotels and detain the asylum seekers" - where? Until you have some practical answers, you don't have anything worthwhile to contribute.

Question: does importing hundreds of thousands of migrants help or hinder a country in its efforts to address pre-existing crime?
Domestic violence rates in Northern Ireland are VERY high, one in five of all recorded crimes. A streamer from NI was recently jailed for brutally murdering his pregnant girlfriend. He left her face down in a dog bowl. No riots Remember this as the far right mobs assemble.

Shabana Mahmood has CONDEMNED the Henry Nowak protests in Southampton, saying those responsible will be arrested. Meanwhile, here she is on a pro-Palestine protest which turned violent and forced a supermarket to close. She has since deleted this video. Please don't RT it.

He could be replaced with an LLM implanted in a Roomba and nothing would be lost.
This month marks Gypsy, Roma and Traveller History Month. Despite facing discrimination in many areas of life, our Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller communities have long contributed to life in our capital and today we celebrate that rich legacy.

A thought experiment. A white British boy is found guilty of stabbing to death a black British boy. The police handcuff the black British boy when he is bleeding out and dying. They refuse to try & save his life. His last words are: ā€œI can’t breatheā€. The police later issue a weak apology. But no heads roll. Nobody is sacked. The police body cam footage is not released. Now ask yourself: What would Keir Starmer, Yvette Cooper, Sadiq Khan, Jess Phillips and countless other MPs and celebrities be doing right now? We know exactly what they would be doing. They would be protesting. Marching. Screaming. Demanding the footage be released. And dropping one video and statement after another on social media. Now have a look around at what they are all doing about the Henry Nowak case. And that is exactly why millions of British people talk about ā€œtwo-tier Britainā€.

Theo Von is arguably the dumbest sentient plank of wood in existence. The fact that someone with his level of geopolitical illiteracy gets to sit on the world’s most popular podcast and casually spew that kind of brain rotting nonsense is actually impressive in the worst possible way...

The Pattern exerts a nasty, destructive grip on minds. But it's not infinitely strong. One can notice it in oneself. Then one can decide to rebel, and allow one's mind to resume normal logic, normal reason and normal decency. Giving oneself a normal chance for happiness.
This deserves to go viral. He grew up in Palestine. He knows Hamas better than most. But he managed to extricate himself from terrible ideologies. He might have been dropping bombs. Instead, because of his own critical faculties: it’s truth bombs: youtu.be/u9CZI4K4A1k?si=jc6-…

This is going to cost less than the repair of our own parliament under current plans.
China is attempting to do the impossible. The construction of 123 km underwater tunnel, the Bohai Strait Tunnel is on and it will cost China $42 billion. On completion, the high speed transport system will reduce travel time between Dalian and YantaiĀ from 8 hours to only 40 minutes. It will be the longest underwater beating 53.85 km Seikan Tunnel.

This is the single most important academic report of the war. It debunks every major claim against Israel, with evidence. It’s long, but I recommend you read the Exec Summary and use it to guide which chapter you need to rebut a particular claim. besacenter.org/debunking-the…

Sam Harris on the misinformation, disinformation, and lies that have fueled public skepticism of U.S. support for Israel. ā€œWe have people walking around with facts in their heads that are not facts…There are people who think that Israel has perpetrated a genocide in Gaza…They think there was a famine in Gaza…They believe they’ve seen pictures of this. I’m not saying there hasn’t been tremendous suffering and death in Gaza. But if, in fact, it is true that the IDF faced an urban warfare challenge of a sort that no society has ever faced…If it is, in fact, true that the IDF has been better behaved, or at least as well-behaved as Americans or Brits or any other Western power has been in anything like an analogous situation…If all of that’s true, then what are we talking about here? What is this double standard that’s being applied to Israel?ā€

The Afroman Trial. -Cops raid Afromans house for bullshit reasons. -Steal money, break his door, fuck his house up. -No criminality found whatsoever, no charges at all pressed on Afroman. -Afroman spends the next 3 years making songs that make fun of all the officers involved by name, even using footage of the raid from his own CCTV cameras. -Songs had titles like "Randy Walters is a son of a bitch" and "Lick Em Low Lisa" accusing one of the officers of being a lesbian and sleeping with the other officers wives. -During the raid one officer looked like he was about to eat some lemon pound cake sitting on Afromans counter, Afroman made a whole album calling the officer fat. -The cops get mad and file a lawsuit for defamation. -Afroman turns up to court in a whole American flag suit. -Officers performatively mald and cry while listening to the songs really trying to oversell how badly the songs upset them. -One officer was suing because Afroman made a whole song about him saying he was fucking the officers wife. When the officer was asked if Afroman was really fucking his wife, he said "I don't know". Nuking his own case and establishing that there is a non-zero chance that Afroman might actually be fucking his wife. -As his only witness for the trial, Afroman brought a deputies EX FUCKING WIFE. -The jury ruled completely in favour of Afroman. This entire thing has been a great win for free speech and absolutely fucking hilarious.

Men who are asked to endure humiliation as though it were proof of their moral maturity are being initiated into a civilisation that no longer recognises masculine pain as fully human. This is followed by a broader cultural disorder; the present moral atmosphere increasingly tilts in favour of women, in the sense that female misconduct is more readily aestheticised, excused, or even applauded. Masculine structure is treated as suspect, while feminine chaos is romanticised as liberation. nd so we arrive at a social order in which a woman may dehumanise a man, speak to him with contempt, or reduce him to a caricature, and still remain insulated by the rhetoric of victimhood the moment she is challenged. This is where grievance turns into impunity because to have suffered does not absolve one of the responsibility not to inflict suffering. If you are inhumanely treating another human being, the language of victimhood still places you within the moral judgment. We cannot dismiss this phenomenon as accidental as it is being cultivated through social platforms, popular media, web series, and the broader symbolic machinery of contemporary culture, all of which increasingly train people to interpret men through a vocabulary of suspicion, disposability, and moral inferiority. The result is a pendulum swing so extreme that it has started to resemble ideological inversion. This leads to gender wars where men and women are taught to view the other as an enemy because contempt is now passed for intelligence and hatred leads to earning social reward. But you are not above the other gender or even being merely human, the current culture which is trying to teach us dignity through degradation is decomposing.
