really really happy to see this become a reality.
huge kudos to @0xratnakar, @saluja_ira, @takeiteasyUrvy and everyone else behind AI & Women.
they knocked on every door, built in public, kept posting, saw rejections, and still made it happen, with or without the support we initially expected.
there's a lot to learn from this first edition and that's exactly what firsts are for.
hopefully this is the first of many, and i can't wait to help organize the next one once i'm back in India.

we hosted a room just for the ladies to come in, discuss ideas problems and build with ai.
~ 24 hours, we went 18%→44% audience on socials.
can’t wait to have the room 50-50 as well.

something i wish existed when i was starting out.
jammu has incredible talent, but there haven't been many spaces where builders can simply come together, learn, and build.

thrilled to announce that after years of building AI products, organizing AI events, shipping AI agents, and spending an unhealthy amount of time talking to LLMs, i've finally become officially qualified.
i completed an AI certification. the course was an intense test of resilience involving watching videos at 2x speed, clicking "next" with unwavering determination, and answering questions whose answers were conveniently on the previous slide.

been wanting something like this to happen here for a while now.
20 people in a room.
a few hours to build with AI.
demo what you made by the end.
could be a small tool, an automation, a random experiment, anything.
you don’t need to have a perfect idea.
just show up curious and build something.
since this is the first one in ahmedabad, we’re keeping it small and focused with only 20 seats.

it's time ladies
every single time priyanshu hosted an ai & weekend, i'd tell him the same thing.
i don't think i know enough yet. or i'll come for the next one, i don’t think i am ready yet.
there was always a next one.
i've spent months convincing myself i need to learn more before i can finally start building upon that ONE idea i have had for months.
it's funny because if someone else said this to me, i'd probably tell them to just start.
i just never took my own advice.
so when he told me this one was going to be women only. i knew i was not gonna miss this.
because maybe all i am missing is the right room.
a room where nobody expects me to know everything.
where asking "basic" questions isn't embarrassing.
where everyone is building, getting stuck, helping each other, and figuring it out as they go.
and i LOVE LOVE being in rooms full of smart women.
if you've been putting off getting into ai because you don't feel "ready", i have a feeling i'm not the only one.
come build with us this weekend : )

we started as a small experiment to bring people together to learn, build and explore ai.
over the past few months, we've hosted sessions across cities, met incredible people, and built a community we never imagined.
thank you to everyone who showed up, volunteered, shared the word, or simply believed in what we're building. we're genuinely grateful.
now it's time for the next step.
we want to bring @aiweekendsxyz to more cities.
