This is cool interaction design but reminds me of code minimaps, which were cute but never actually useful. As sessions get longer and more autonomous, transcripts are the wrong layer to be operating at for many tasks You’ll want a new UX paradigm here (something we’ve been working on @runneragent for a while now!)
Long Codex threads now have a navigation rail. Hover over the gutter to preview nearby turns, then click one to jump straight to that point instead of scrolling through the entire conversation.

I've finally lived in SF long enough to have a secret local coffee spot that I will forever gatekeep basically no google maps reviews, open weird hours, not crowded, exceptional views and vibes

2026 marks the official transition year from the unbundling to bundling era in tech. Exa is clay is browserbase is parallel Linear is notion is codex is claude code We will see in SaaS what happened to fintech in the 2010s. When the underlying product is commodified, bundling and distribution wins. Software features in 2026 today are much closer to interchange and deposits than they are to software in 2016
Introducing Exa Connect: connecting agents to data beyond the public web. Available today with ZoomInfo, Crunchbase, Similarweb, and many other leading data providers. exa.ai/connect

You know a new model is coming when the current model starts falling off.

My very happy agent stack these days: 1. Claude for planning on ultracode 2. Codex for implementing with /goal E2E testing with computer use and vision 3. Runner as my EA with heartbeat long duration sessions Never been happier :)

Not enough discussion on the timeline of how amazing this launch video is. Perfect blend of mystery and awe. Terribly appropriate for a company unexpectedly bringing sci-fi to life Apparently, @DavidSHolz made it himself too?

In the age of AI, human ingenuity becomes even more valuable. The likes of @elonmusk @spacex, @nvidia, @anthropic, @OpenAI were founded in the U.S. for a reason. Over the years, I've met thousands of talented founders, engineers, and technologists, and many left everything familiar for the chance to build something new. So we sat down to hear their stories. to expand on this further, the job of designers then split into: creative director: judge the outcome of prototype created by agents in this environment design infra: set up, maintain, and upgrade the environment based on CD feedback. Figma can be the layer that makes both actions super easy

If I was Figma I'd bet hard in the emerging trend of design playgrounds and make an explicit tool for it. All the best teams are already working this way. Basically it's like software factory / harness engineering / loops-driven development pattern for design prototypes The idea is that: 1. Designers set up the environment, write the constraints, tests, skills, design system, principles, etc. They maintain it much like 2. Figma takes care of the infra to make this really easy. resettable sandbox, sharing, multiplayer, etc. 3. Anyone on the team can just "request new designs" by talking to agents that operate in this environment @zoink plz make this. 100% guaranteed to send figma stock to the moon impossible to fail :P

Fable is truly supremely intelligent, but it seems to have come at the cost of the verbal je ne sais quoi that Claude models have always had. Shame that Claude now talks like GPT models.

There's a complex & nuanced portrait of zuck's tycoon arc that would've made for a great biopic. This unfortunately, doesn't look like it's going to be that. Succumbs to too many cheap stereotypes
First trailer for ‘THE SOCIAL NETWORK’ sequel, starring Jeremy Strong, Jeremy Allen White and Mikey Madison. The film follows an engineer who becomes a whistleblower on Facebook's most guarded secrets. In theaters on October 9.

The surest sign Apple has entered its imperial decline and fall isn't the continuous AI fumbles, but rather that spotlight has not been working for MONTHS.

Reminder that you should also be designing loops for non-coding work like project mgmt, admin work, support, etc. Anything verifiable can be looped to completion! A big part of jobs now is to figure out how to create up to date evals for everything you do
Here’s your monthly reminder that you shouldn’t be prompting coding agents anymore. You should be designing loops that prompt your agents.
