No ill will toward Karoline Leavitt. She’s sharp and was clearly handed a talking point.
That script likely came from the older generation, Baby Boomers who built their wealth in a very different America.
One where buying your first home and raising kids didn’t mean competing against 100million illegal aliens for wages, housing, and opportunity.
This is the real generational disconnect. The people directing the message simply don’t see the stacked deck younger Americans are facing today.
We can fix the future together, but only if we first acknowledge that the older generation, who were indeed hard workers, grew up in a different America with different rules.
Pretending it was the same just creates tone-deaf friction on issues like immigration and deportations. The nation’s young are starting to wake up!!
Reality first, then solutions. Mass deportation
Karoline Leavitt, who has a three-decade age gap with her wealthy husband, says Gen Z is “lazy” and born with “silver spoons in their mouths," and that if they misbehave, they should be sent to “Iran” and “Cuba.”
Gen Z faces some of the most disparate wealth inequality in US history, with relative purchasing power, especially of homes, greatly diminished.

New York: it's hot out there, and the power grid is working overtime to keep us cool.
Set your AC to 78 degrees, turn off lights/electronics you're not using, and unplug what you can.
Our City is doing its part too: maintaining the 78 degrees rule in our buildings, dimming/turning off our lights during peak electricity demand, asking private partners to do the same, and powering down non-essential equipment.
A stable grid means the AC stays on, and lives are saved. Let's ease demand — and get through the heat — together.
