True ambition is predatory by nature, it demands the ruthless willingness to let your future tear down your past. We cling to old ideas out of pure nostalgia, feeling guilty for outgrowing the old ambitions but that's probably not an honest way forward. You don't seek out a heavier & faster skyline because you need inspiration, you drop yourself into the arena because you need a system that actively penalizes standing still. The sheer velocity of the grid doesn't do the work for you but forces your internal baseline to recalibrate. We are taught to treat friction like a defect, constantly searching for life hacks to make the growth painless, honestly though, a frictionless existence is just a flatline. The heavy tension of ripping past your own limits is the raw sensation of your world expanding. So play for the electric chaos of seeing how far the edge can actually be pushed. And it's a fun game to play.

The mental overhead of trust but verify is exhausting, you just end up doing the work twice in your head as an auditor.
One reason it's more difficult to work with people you don't have faith in is simply that there are more possibilities to consider whenever they do something. You also have to consider all the ways they might have screwed up. Even if they didn't, you still have to think about it.

Gosh, the amount of AI slop in this announcement is hard to digest. This is a criticism but for updates this important, I’d guess the comms team has to put in more effort and thought.

Rare to see founders take a swing so far outside their original domain but this is the new reality. AI creates a surplus of capability, making rigid niches an inefficient use of capital. The most ambitious companies will simply apply their intelligence wherever there is friction. Incredible expansion by Midjourney.

Spent a lot of time getting this right. Good docs are one of the clearest windows into how a team thinks about the mechanics, tradeoffs and the direction behind the product. Ample is early but the direction feels stronger every week. As always, shoot any feedback over!
Ample Docs are now live. A deeper look at how Ample works, why we built it this way, and where we’re taking prize-linked assets next. Dive in.

Go try out Omen. Digvijay, as always, is hard at work!
Omen can now drive your logic analyzer. I²C init reports success but every register prints 0xFF? It reaches for the analyzer, captures, decodes, and fixes. All in one loop. Works with Saleae Logic (Logic 8 / Pro 8 / Pro 16). I will present a detailed demo shortly. Download now to try it yourself.

it is so absurdly easy to sit around being a smart cog in a giant wheel having perfectly safe opinions about how the world works. and it is because of that, i always enjoy reading about the people who actually crack the universe open by taking completely unhinged shots in the dark with conviction and, maybe, even some delusion. these are contagious to read, and should make you want to rip up your safe plans and go build something stupidly big. the arena is always going to be messier than the sidelines but at least there is magic in it.
We’re excited to share that we just signed an agreement for @salesforce to acquire @fin_ai for ~$3.6B. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of Salesforce’s fiscal year 2027. Fin started as Intercom 15 years ago. We changed our name to cap our transformation just weeks ago. We were a darling of the SaaS era and invented so many of the patterns you see in software today. Nearly four years ago, in need of a reboot, we jumped on weeks-old modern LLMs to create and define the category we know as Customer Agents today. Salesforce invented modern software and SaaS. And @benioff is like the final boss of tech founder CEOs. In seat for 27 years, he’s one of the last of his era. Still pushing, pivoting, placing big bets. It’s a privilege for @destraynor and I to get to partner with him and join forces with Salesforce upon close at this most fascinating time. And will be very fun to get their help bringing Fin to magnitudes more consumers. To our customers: Over the past few years we’ve been shipping intensely. Including recently our groundbreaking model, Apex, and our paradigm-defining internal agent, Operator. With the resources of Salesforce this will only accelerate. And yet little will practically change. I’ll still be CEO, Des will still be running R&D, we’ll both still be committed to continuing to lead this category. Thank you very sincerely and deeply for your belief in us. To all of our friends, our families, and our employees, past and present: While this is not the end, it is a major, pivotal, special, and emotional moment for us. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. For everything. To my cofounders, my exec team: Look what we built. Four young lads with a dream and nothing to lose. And a home grown exec team who pulled off the greatest and arguably only late stage software company pivot to AI, and invented one of the most important categories in AI. Thank you for sticking through all of this with me. And now, time to get back to work. See you at our next product launch in a couple weeks. (:

We are entering an era where every view people have on the world can become an asset they hold. Space, AI, commodities, currencies, indexes, private markets, internet-native assets are moving toward open, programmable ownership. Consumer finance will slowly adjust to this and the gaps will get filled. I think the way people hold assets is one of the biggest gaps, and we are aggressively working toward filling it. A position should not only represent exposure. It should be useful, rewarding, liquid, shareable, and capable of carrying new mechanics around it. With Ample today, holding an asset means keeping the full upside while its yield powers weekly prize opportunities around it. Your principal remains intact, continues compounding, and ownership becomes something more active than simply waiting for price appreciation. I think this becomes one of the defining consumer finance shifts of the next decade, and it is the future we are building toward with Ample.
SpaceX is now live on Ample. Introducing Ample Stocks: earn weekly prizes on stock exposure, while your principal stays protected. Starting with $SPCX, powered by @OndoFinance. A new way to hold stocks. A better reason to keep holding.

Most of crypto asks users to prepare before they actually use the end product. You need the right chain, right asset, right gas. Ample now meets you where your money already is, deposit anything from anywhere.
NEW: Universal Deposits Your idle assets can now enter any Ample vault in one click. Pick the token already in your wallet, choose where you want to save, and Ample handles the route. Powered by @lifiprotocol.

The end state we're building toward is much more simpler. Open the app, put money in, watch it grow. Everything in service of that. We're closer to that with our private-access mobile app. DM me if anyone wants to try it out!

Paper: Semantic Regression Testing A few years ago, I published a paper on detecting contradictions in text. I’ve been thinking back about that idea for AI systems answering from company docs that conflict and are hard to trust over years of edits. 📄 zeelpatel.xyz/research/SRT.p…

Note: Still a working paper. I’ve mostly been working on this over weekends but broadly the framework feels useful enough to turn it into an arXiv / journal submission later on.

won $1000 on @AmpleHQ this week and safe to say, it's the first defi product i can actually vouch for in a while after the drift hack and getting stuck in gauntlet's resolvUSDC vault, like most, i was, still am scared to deposit my stables anywhere the real reason i keep depositing more each week is @patelzeel68. dms open, every concern i've had for 2 months answered or addressed. how available a team is matters a lot when you're rebuilding trust. a bunch of features on the platform now came from UX feedback i gave, most shipped within the same week teams and products like ample is what defi needs more of

I park my HYPE smartly in Ample. Are you?
Now you can deposit the assets you actually want to hold. HYPE ran 30% last week. In an Ample HYPE vault, you could have kept the exposure 1:1 and still earned tickets into the weekly payout. Hold what you believe in, win on top. x.com/AmpleHQ/status/2057877…
