Matic is an actually useful home robot that is improving constantly. What strikes me the most is that it’s not just tech people that love it: both my mother-in-law and wife absolutely love theirs and now can’t imagine life without it. My wife is constantly using the custom clean area feature on the app. This is currently my favorite company on earth. Great job, Matic team!

Not just because of the name, this little vacuum guy is one of the most delightful pieces of new technology I've seen in a while. Cleans quite well, really fun to tweak and set up. And it can handle the ~9k sq ft at the TinkerTendo warehouse!

Beginning September 9, 2026, the price of Matic robot will increase from $1,245 to $1,495 due to memory prices. One of our core principles is building hardware that continuously gets better through software. In the last six months alone, we've shipped 24 major releases and over 50 updates, giving our users faster cleans, better navigation, a simpler app, and more. Delivering this requires advanced chips and memory components for which the cost has risen tenfold. We're letting our community know as early as possible so anyone considering buying Matic or gifting one has the chance to get one at the lowest price it may ever be.
