Digital Health Vitals went live at
@health2tech_ during
#NYTechWeek, and the episode is now everywhere you get your podcasts, including YouTube:
youtube.com/watch?v=e34Nbt4l…. 🎙️
For this episode, we took our usual monthly digital health news discussion out of the studio and recorded it live in front of the Health2Tech community in NYC.
I was joined on the panel by
@AlexKoshykov, Stephanie Davis, and Guy Milhalter. We discussed:
– Public digital health earnings:
@HingeHealth,
@omadahealth,
@Progyny,
@doximity, and
@wearehims
–
@doctronic's AI prescription renewal pilot
–
@ouraring filing for an IPO, and its attempt to move into primary care through its
@CounselHealth partnership
– Fitbit becoming part of
@googlehealth, and
@Google's new Health Coach
–
@doximity's Clinical AI Suite
–
@AnthropicAI getting more serious about healthcare AI, and what the hell HealthBench Professional actually is
– Our favorite game: thumbs up or thumbs down on recent funding rounds, including
@garnerhealth,
@CommureOS,
@nourish, and
@ForusPlatform
– SaaSpocalypse, and why SaaS and cloud companies recovered from it, while healthtech never did
On that last point, I have an extensive research article coming out this week on my Substack:
FixHealth.ai. Basically, I’m trying to answer one question: why do companies like
@SpaceX ($SPCX), with crazy valuations, keep appreciating, while public healthtech companies do not?
The number of questions we received during the panel was incredible. I was still in discussions long after the session ended, basically until they kicked us out of the building. 🙂
Thanks to everyone who came. It was an awesome discussion.
