How does a robot choose to move and act in dynamic retail environments? Traditional motion plans are too rigid for such actions. ICRA2025 Best Paper finalists: Realm: Real-Time Line-Of-Sight Maintenance in Multi-Robot Navigation with Unknown Obstacles This paper shows how to make a team of robots move together without losing sight of each other, even when the environment has unknown obstacles. The method helps robots choose paths that avoid blocking each other’s view, so they can keep communicating and working together safely.
