We’re building a soul computer. Not a copy of you. Something that grows by knowing you. Shaped by your life, yet distinctly its own. Pickle OS is where that soul is raised. Pickle 1 is how it sees the world. Now live at pickle.com

just carving from the top. a lot of “impossible” problems end up having simple, scalable solutions.
Best pyramid theory we have right now

Proud of what we are building. More to come
3 years building consumer apps, and I’ve never seen daily retention like this. LLMs are finally strong enough to reason over ~10 years of memory and create real magic. (pickle.com/os) More exciting updates soon!

I reacted emotionally and more publicly than I should have earlier. I apologize for that. From here on, I’m stepping away from the noise and focusing on building and delivering on our commitments. We’ll let the work speak. Stay tuned for updates as we make progress toward shipping the first run! Thank you.

I'm relieved to know this product isn't a scam. Qualcomm is directly working with them and supplying the SoCs I'm now very excited to see how it performs in real life

I’m sorry it didn’t work for you (and for those who arrived early — we had some network issues at the start), but it did work for about 90% of participants. That demo was two months ago, and it was our earliest prototype. We’ll be hosting another demo day soon in SF with a “real” product that’s 10× better, so please stay tuned.

Time to reinvent input/output in 2026 beyond the phone: (1) eye glasses that see and hear everything you see and hear? Meta may have done the right thing for the wrong (AR) reason (2) better pens that digitize the notes you take, summarize and do everything the notetakers do on zoom (better Livescribe that has been directionally right but not quite there?) (3) your best guess. or best new idea? My favorite new thing BCI that is instant and non-invasive for input. Just reads your mind. Likely far away for output.

Pickle completely caught me off guard. When I first opened the site, I didn’t expect much, but as I started sharing my memories, something shifted. It felt less like an app and more like a space that listens. Pickle doesn’t just store memories, it helps you see yourself more clearly. Congrats Daniel and Krithi on the launch!!!

I was wrong this is so cool. design is also sleek and could actually break the "glass celling" criticism I raised in the last post about Pickle. also the idea bubble is actually novel. fuck I want one now. low-key also sell AI without saying the word AI at all genius. GG

D-1 Technology has always connected us to each other. But the next breakthrough should do something different. It should help you connect to yourself.
creativity is a process of connecting what you’ve already seen, felt, and learned in new ways.

D-2 The winner is whoever owns what’s scarce at that moment, and the thing that survives last is the moat.
My yearly reminder to all founders as you go build that next Google/MSFT/Salesforce killer app in 2026: when distribution is proprietary, distribution wins (Comcast vs Netflix), when distribution is commoditized, best product wins (chrome vs IE), when product is commoditized, best service wins (Amazon vs others), when service is commoditized, best network wins.

🫶 for beta users
What I learnt from our closed beta round: > Our core base consists of professionals from various background (analysts, venture builders, students, people with adhd, entrepreneurs, creatives) all seeking a "cognitive stack" to unify fragmented personal and professional contexts. > Users don't seem to just want summaries anymore, they want a reflective partner. The real magic happens when Pickle surfaces patterns they hadn't consciously articulated, turning a data silo into a "therapeutic" personal diary that builds deep self-understanding. > Stickiness is built on transparency. By leading with data sovereignty and secure infrastructure, we’ve created a "mindful thinking space" where users feel safe enough to "gravitate naturally" toward daily usage and long-term data investment. > The future is "Actionable Memory". Feedback is pushing us beyond the browser tab toward a native, voice-enabled "agentic stack" that proactively executes research, reminds users of half-finished projects, and ensures data portability.
