At 70 I feel like I'm thirty backing exciting innovators/innovations making the impossible possible and from improbable ideas to world-changing socially impactful companies. Never had such a fast learning rate in my life or felt I could have so much impact, which is exciting.

Most people don't realize how important design thinking is to a better life. It's not about cost. It's about how you organize things and what values you incorporate.
Good interviews often leave you thinking about something you weren't expecting. For me, it was hearing Vinod Khosla explain why design thinking has shaped so much of his success. Innovation isn't only about technology. It's about how you approach problems.

Awesome
Today, on America’s 250th birthday, Susan and I are celebrating by giving $250 each to the first 25 million qualifying American children who sign up for their @InvestAmerica24 @TrumpAccounts. This makes every child a shareholder in the greatest prosperity-creating engine the world has ever known — American capitalism. Through this public-private partnership, we’re giving the next generation a real stake in our economy and a path to the American Dream: education, a first home, starting a business, and building lasting wealth. It unites us all in hope and optimism for every child’s future. Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸 trumpaccounts.gov/

AI fraud is because Economics Professor Roberto Serrano’s experience failed to change how he evaluates students. Fine-grained evaluation of every step a student takes in coming up with an assignment is now possible with AI. That is how @CK12Foundation evaluates students, step by step, not just by judging the final answer. More accurate evaluation of the student's thinking process than just judging the final answer . Academics need to change, not the AI. english.elpais.com/education…

Technology converts scarcity into abundance. In energy, the technology already exists and is already deployed. The only question is who builds the future on it first.

I have applied the same framework to every investment for forty years: back what the next era needs, not what optimizes the last one. It is why I backed OpenAI before the world understood it, and solar when every utility said distributed generation would never scale. It is why I backed Mainspring over a decade ago, before anyone needed to ask where the power would come from.

There is a better solution, commercially deployed for years. Linear generators convert fuel directly into electricity through a flameless, low-temperature reaction. Almost zero NOx, almost any fuel and efficiency more like solid oxide fuel cells. They deploy in months and run independent of or with the grid from day one.

A single AI data center now consumes as much electricity as a city of 80,000 people. We are building hundreds at once, in places the grid was never designed to reach. A seven-year interconnection queue will not fix that.

AI will create a future of abundance almost beyond imagining. But that future runs on enormous amounts of power, and the grid cannot deliver it fast enough. The linear generator can. My piece in Fortune: fortune.com/2026/06/30/vinod…

Today we're launching @SpellbookLegal's biggest thing yet: Autonomous Contract Management It’s the first end-to-end AI infrastructure for contracts The world is speeding up. We are in one of the biggest investment cycles in decades. Behind every rocket launch, FIFA game, and datacenter, lies a web of hundreds of agreements. Agreements are the invisible threads that allow us to work together. We have infrastructure for finance (Stripe, Ramp), eCommerce (Shopify) and many business functions. But agreement infrastructure is lacking. This creates a painful bottleneck on our ability to work together. Online purchases take milliseconds. But agreements still take weeks. CLMs were supposed to be the answer, but were designed in a pre-AI era. AI fundamentally changed how computers can accelerate agreements. Spellbook is the most used AI contract review tool in the world, with ~5,000 customers in 80 countries Now we are expanding to deliver the first end-to-end, AI native stack for contracts. From the moment a deal lands in your inbox, to the day it renews years later, Spellbook’s AI supports teams every step of the way, across all business teams. It runs 24/7. While you sleep, it's reading the deals that came in overnight, flagging the parts that actually need a lawyer, and clearing the busywork that used to kill mornings. Nothing gets handed off between systems or slips after signature, and the intelligence stays with you for the life of the contract. AI for lawyers is great. There are 20 million lawyers in the world, and many are our users. But there are billions who touch contracts. We're excited to help everyone move faster and do more of what they love, by building the best AI-powered contract infrastructure in the world. Get early access: spellbook.com/acm

We don’t as humans watch us race against cars or watch humans play chess against computers, competition will always be about humans against human performance. Authenticity of human performance and provenance will be in even more demand
"Can it win a formula 1 race soon", yes soon but f1 will remain human driven sport for a long time there will be E-F1 as a new sport for emerging self driven cars race to test the boundaries

Appreciate the credit, but it was really your team we were betting on and the approach you have. As you know, it took one meeting and two hours on a Saturday afternoon to commitment on the spot. This was the first time I actually met you. Self driving vehicles, flying drone swarms, robotics, video games, and much more, all from the same model.
And lastly - it shouldn't have been possible to start a frontier lab in 2025. The doors were shut, they said. But thanks to Vinod, and his relentless ability to believe in founding teams, it was. And the journey continues. x.com/vkhosla/status/2070190…

I am betting on this winning the world model race with human like intuition emerging in this model. Uncanny the range of things it can do. Can it win a formula 1 race soon?
Announcing our $320M Series A at a $2.3B valuation, led by @khoslaventures, with @generalcatalyst, @ericschmidt and @JeffBezos. General Intuition is the frontier lab for acting in space and time. We build large action foundation models trained on billions of ground truth action-labeled gameplay clips from 17M monthly active users on Medal, and push the frontier of world models to generate infinite training environments.
