International Yoga Day was observed across our plant facilities and schools with enthusiastic participation from employees, students and their families, highlighting the importance of yoga in fostering physical well-being, mental balance and healthier everyday habits.​ ​ At Jajpur, the Security and Vigilance team organised a yoga session for around 70 security personnel. At Chromeni Steels Limited Mundra, employees came together for a session focused on holistic well-being. At OP Jindal Modern School, Hisar, students and teachers participated in district-level celebrations under the 2026 theme, “Yoga for Healthy Ageing”, with the school also securing the second position in Surya Namaskar Abhiyan 2026. Chairperson Emeritus, OP Jindal Group, Smt @SavitriJindal graced the live virtual facilitation of the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PM-VBRY) programme at Jindal Stainless’ Hisar unit. Addressing the national programme, Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi highlighted the scale of its impact, noting that nearly 70 lakh jobs have been created so far, with around 70 lakh first-time employees brought under social security and over ₹2,400 crore transferred directly to young beneficiaries. At Hisar, the session reinforced the importance of employment generation, social security, and inclusive growth in building a stronger India. Jindal Stainless, through its Stainless Academy initiative, has successfully completed the first batch of the Stainless Steel Fabrication Course at Government ITI, Jajpur. Designed to strengthen industry-aligned skilling, the programme equips students with practical expertise in stainless steel fabrication, including cutting, welding, polishing, fabrication techniques, workplace safety, and quality standards. The initiative follows a sustainable skilling model, with training delivered by ITI instructors and supported by Jindal Stainless through Training of Trainers (ToT), structured curriculum, training materials, and practical consumables. Jindal Stainless participated in the 45th International Deep Drawing Research Group Conference (IDDRG 2026), held at IIT Bombay from 31 May to 4 June 2026. As a recognition of the Company’s growing technical expertise in advanced manufacturing and sheet metal forming, members of the R&D team from the Hisar unit, Dr Saurabh Kumar and Dr Pankaj Agarwal, were invited to serve as Session Chairs at the conference. IDDRG is a globally recognised platform that brings together experts from academia, research institutions, technology providers, and industry to deliberate on advancements in sheet metal forming, material modelling, forming simulation, joining technologies, EV applications, and AI/ML-enabled manufacturing. On the occasion of #WorldEnvironmentDay 2026, Jindal Stainless organised a series of initiatives across its Hisar, Jajpur, and RVPL units, reinforcing its commitment to environmental responsibility through awareness, action, and community engagement.​ ​ At Hisar, a city-wide campaign was launched to distribute 10,000 reusable cotton bags to vegetable vendors across key markets, encouraging sustainable alternatives to single-use plastics. The initiative is being led by AGM, Environment, Jindal Stainless Hisar, Mr Amit Bharadwaj, under the guidance of Unit Head, Jindal Stainless Hisar, Mr Vijay Bindlish. The unit also organised a two-day e-waste collection drive in partnership with Gauvins Green, collecting over 895 kg of e-waste on the first day, alongside awareness campaigns on responsible waste disposal.​ ​ At Jajpur, awareness sessions and pledge-taking activities were conducted for employees, workers, and community members, highlighting the importance of environmental stewardship and waste segregation.
