What I've learnt in this project: 1. Using GPGPU technique to simulate boids 2. Model fishes and project from view for UV mapping in Blender 3. Apply a "prebaked" caustics pattern without realtime voronoi calculations 4. My artistic taste has plenty of room for improvement😂

Great thanks to the youtube tutorials of @iced_coffee_dev and @SebastianLague on boids simulation 🙏, I've learnt a lot! And thanks to @bruno_simon for holding these three.js challenges!

Major updates on my underwater scene! 1. Added new fish models and textures 2. Added some nice rocks 3. Fish now have obstacle avoidance capability 4. Applied water caustics pattern to the directional light such that every underwater object is lit ☀️! #threejs #threejsJourney

I 3D scanned my stump and my ax and my wood and recorded my ax motions and splitting sounds and made it into a super satisfying firewood splitting simulator (vibecoded with Antigravity/Claude in threejs)
