The willingness of CDN’s who live in the 11 provinces/territories that have had their right to choose eliminated by the gov banning US alcohol just baffles me. First & foremost, provincial/territorial gov’s should only be capable of banning anything based on consumer safety & certainly not to send a political message. Example A, there is no ban on travel to the US. Some provincial & federal elected officials have recommended/suggested it no one has ever suggested we ban CDN’s from travelling to the United States or ban Americans from coming here, yet the data shows that many CDN’s have chosen to not travel to the US to express their anger with the Trump admin. That’s exactly how it’s supposed to work & note that the US Ambassador doesn’t mention this much more negatively impactful act by CDN’s! All 11 provinces/territories should immediately lift their bans & join Alberta & Saskatchewan in letting their citizens decide whether they want to buy US alcohol or boycott it but why piss off the USG with a ban? It’s counterintuitive at best & self harm at worst. Let CDN’s choose!

He died like a dog!
This is how Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar stood before a large crowd in Gaza back then, holding a child in his arms to make himself less of a target by using the child as a shield. Moments before he was killed by Israel, he hid in women’s clothes. He lived and died a weak coward.

Multiculturalism is a complete failure in Canada when coupled with mass immigration, a failure to deport criminals that get through the screening process & a failure to crack down on those who can’t leave their home country fights behind & instead bring them to Canada with them.
Now this house in Bowmanville is waving what appears to be a TAMIL TIGER flag (terrorist organization) with a COW just standing in front of the house. This after REBEL NEWS was there reporting on a COW set on fire 👀 INSANE Canada 🇨🇦

The current problem in NATO isn’t Trump, it’s this year’s host Erdogan! NATO must be an alliance of democratic nations that stand together on principles anchored in freedom of speech, assembly, religion & of a free press…Turkey is none of these things.

This chip on our shoulder attitude has been our downfall for as long as I can remember. The Americans are as patriotic as it gets, so we rarely celebrate our patriotism. The Americans are loud & brash so we’re quiet & down play our achievements. We perpetuate myths about our own politeness & act like the Americans are mean. There are likely 9 American jerks for every CDN jerk but our population difference also means there 9 kind & generous Americans for every CDN of the same ilk. They have a massive military, so we tolerate the under equipping of our troops. We myopically focus on the well deserved achievements of CDN troops during WWI, WWII & Korea while ignoring just how reliant on the US we’ve become in defending our own continent & in every conflict since Korea. We drive cars designed in the US, eat the same food, our cities & rural areas look the same, we listen to the same music, we watch the same movies & TV shows. Talented CDN entertainers almost always end up in the US & eventually become US citizens. We are far more like them than we care to admit so instead of embracing our bigger, stronger & richer cousins, we rail against them & in the process we only hurt ourselves. Trump may exasperate this feeling today but so did Nixon, Madison & Johnson during their Presidencies.

People with money make bets via their after tax dollar investments. Both Canada & the US require various versions of disclosures by their leaders. Trump’s income & investments are based 96% in the US according to this year’s disclosure. His 4% of income not in the US, is based on properties/golf courses he owns abroad. PM Carney’s investments according to the Ethics Commissioner, are also 96% in the US. There is no requirement in Canada for annual income disclosures. That should tell you as clearly as the data below, which country Carney thinks is in a better economic position 😎
Canada and the United States both celebrated their birthdays this week. Warren Kinsella, a columnist with the Toronto Sun, argues that America is failing under President Trump. You can agree or disagree with that view, but the economic data tells a more nuanced story. It's always worth looking at the numbers before embracing the narrative.

The @liberal_party under Trudeau slipped into socialism. I know Carney was Trudeau’s chief economic adviser for his last 5 years in office but (wrongly) assumed that Trudeau was ignoring him. Based on Carney’s first year as PM, Trudeau was NOT ignoring him, he was doing everything Carney advised him to do. Spend more, deficits don’t matter, invest in not ready for commercial production green technology, replace dwindling private sector investment with gov subsidies. Carney is an economic socialist & this bailout should leave no doubt in anyone’s mind.
Vancouver condo sales in June were 26% below the ten-year average, the worst of any housing type. First-half sales across all homes are the lowest since 2005. Active listings are 54% above normal. Prices are already falling. The median Vancouver condo is down to $663,000, off 5% year-over-year and another 3% in one month. Fraser Valley condos dropped 9%. The market is correcting on its own. Inventory is coming down. Months of supply are easing toward balanced. Sales even ticked up month-over-month in June when they usually drop. This is the free market starting to work. Developers are finally having to face reality and bring prices closer to what actual working families can afford. So what do the NDP and the Carney Liberals do? They announce they are going to spend billions of your tax dollars buying up more than 2,200 unsold new condos, many of them $1 million units in places like Richmond and South Vancouver. Units that were built on speculation, many for offshore investors and flippers, not for local families. They are not adding a single new home to the supply. They are just transferring the losses from connected developers and banks onto the backs of taxpayers. Young people who have been priced out for years are now being forced to bid against their own money to keep prices artificially high.

This looks more like a hostage video than anything else. For a guy who set the bar for making clever videos on SM that totally distracted from his idiotic message of free shit for everyone paid for by the evil oligarchs, this is an epic fail in tone, timing & delivery!
JUST IN: NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani used America’s 250th anniversary to sharply criticize the country, accusing the U.S. of allowing children to go hungry while billionaires and “oligarchs” gain more power. He said America’s wealth was built by working people with “calloused, dirt-streaked hands" while accusing the country of allowing the wealth built by workers to be concentrated in “the soft hands of a precious few.”

Not sure that I’d pin my hopes on a BQ MP siding with the CPC to prevent the LPC from shutting this down, but one can always hope I guess.
CONFIRMED!!!: Ethics committee will officially launch hearings into Carney’s condo developer bailout. Cdns shouldn’t be on the hook for wealthy developers. Who lobbied Carney’s government? Who is getting rich off this scheme? Carney must allow this investigation to proceed so Canadians can get the answers they deserve.

Time to sit back & let the rot & the evil from within fight it out while focusing on ensuring that no innocent bystanders (ships in the strait, Israel, GCC countries etc) get hurt. After the civil war, then the US can deal with whoever is left standing.
IRAN’S NEW SUPREME LEADER REPORTEDLY HIDING FROM ISRAEL… EVEN DAD’S FUNERAL IS TOO RISKY Iranian security officials have reportedly blocked Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei from attending the July 9 burial of his father and predecessor, Ali Khamenei, over fears Israel could target him — or trace him back to his hiding location. According to The New York Times, Mojtaba wanted to attend the ceremony in Mashhad and personally perform the funeral rites, but officials refused due to security concerns. Khamenei has not appeared publicly since February 28, when the opening strikes of the US-Israeli campaign reportedly injured him and killed his father, wife, and son. His disappearance is now fueling internal turmoil. Four senior Iranian officials told the Times his absence has raised concerns about the stability of his rule. A written statement attributed to Khamenei approved negotiations with Washington, but hardliners are refusing to accept diplomacy unless he appears publicly or releases a voice recording. Meanwhile, Iran’s factions are battling over the future direction of the regime: • Pragmatists, including President Masoud Pezeshkian and parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, are pushing talks with the US to relieve economic pressure. • Hardliners are escalating threats — with some calling for prosecution or even the death of Iranian negotiators. A regime built on projecting violence is debating whether its supreme leader can safely attend his own father’s funeral. New York Times

So the @liberal_party gov is shocked that someone in the fighter replacement department at DND would add the F35A to their business card after the Trudeau gov signed a contract 2 1/2 years ago to buy the F35A to replace the CF18? Rebuked for what, believing that the gov was actually going to follow through with a contractual obligation they made?

Perhaps this tiny rebel group in far off PNG hasn’t heard that President @realDonaldTrump was reelected & doesn’t take kindly to terrorist groups executing Americans? They might just discover just how long the US military reach is & just how devastating it can be when they send you a love tap!

Lying in the Information Age is a fool’s errand. 94% of all CDN potash sold to the US is protect under CUSMA & is therefore duty free. Only 6% is tariffed at 10% which when you consider the 4 cent decline in the CDN dollar over the past few months is a negligible difference for US purchasers. The biggest cause of this shortage is that the US deal with Belarus to provide sanctions relief in exchange for potash has not materialized as quickly as promised while investments in increased New Mexico production have not yet come on line. If Canada was truly in the drivers seat, Trump would have removed the 10% tariff on non CUSMA compliant potash but instead turned to Morocco who currently are sitting on a surplus of potash!
Almost 100% of America's fertilizers came from 🇨🇦 until the U.S. imposed tariffs on all CDN products. Now they've declared a state of emergency, citing a shortage of essential fertilizers for agricultural crops. This is a Trump-made crisis. 🇨🇦 warned about this long ago! #onpoli

I’ve never spent billions but have spent tens of millions contracting services for helicopters, fixed wing aircraft, vehicles of a variety of types including certified armoured vehicles, armed security guards, weapons, VHF & HF radios, drones & satellite comms equipment & in every single request for proposal was a requirement to provide the relevant local & at times international licenses with their submission. As part of the review process these licenses were confirmed to be as presented & active. When a vendor was eventually selected, the contract clearly required that the vendor maintain their applicable licenses & to immediately update the client (me) should a license change, be temporarily suspended or be revoked. If a license had a validity date, the contracting office team would send them & me email reminders to provide an updated license beginning 6 months before the expiry date. The RCMP personnel involved are either incompetent or ass covering liars. This is basic contracting 101.
Ottawa in a nutshell. Nothing is every anyone’s responsibility. Zero accountability. No one gives a damn. Whoever signed this contract should be fired. Not our job to ensure border patrol helicopter could fly in Canada, RCMP says - Toronto Star apple.news/A8RZA-FK_Rce9Zmkc…
