Ant Group led a $74M round to back home robots aimed at grandparents, pets and kids. Zeroth, founded in late 2024, has already racked up over 30,000 robot orders and 600% H1 revenue growth off a five‑robot lineup that spans compact home humanoids (M1), licensed WALL- E companions (W1), quadrupeds (A1) and full‑size humanoids (Jupiter). This is Ant’s 12th humanoid/robotics deal since 2025. Zeroth is now a key datapoint in the emerging “consumer humanoid” segment, with China’s capital markets, Disney IP licensing and overseas expansion into North America and Europe all converging in one trajectory to track.

X Square Robot is now a $2.8B embodied AI company. The Shenzhen-based company just closed its Series C above RMB 20B valuation, with IDG joining the round. The cap table is the part to watch: Alibaba Meituan Xiaomi ByteDance HongShan IDG That is a rare mix for a robotics company: consumer internet, local services, hardware supply chain, cloud, AI distribution, and top-tier venture capital. X Square has already tested robot home-cleaning services in Shenzhen, pairing a human cleaner with a robot in real households. That gives them something most embodied AI companies still lack: messy, high-variance, real-world household data.
We’re excited to announce that we’ve closed our Series C financing at a valuation above RMB 20 billion, with IDG Capital joining this round. This follows previous backing from leading financial and strategic investors including HongShan, Xiaomi, Meituan, Alibaba and ByteDance, marking a strong recognition of our technology and long-term vision for embodied AI.

Cobot just shipped a robot that finds its own work, does it, and never needs a human to tell it what's next. Proxie Gen 2 introduces "Autotasking": the robot builds a live world model of your operations, identifies what needs to be done, announces it out loud, then executes. No software integration. No dispatcher. Under the hood: NVIDIA Jetson for on-robot inference (no cloud dependency), AWS for fleet intelligence, LiFePO4 batteries with a self-swapping station for zero-downtime ops, and a new bimanual arm config for two-handed tasks. Starts at $5,000/month. Available now. CEO Brad Porter (ex-Amazon VP of Robotics, ex-CTO of Scale AI) founded Cobot in 2022. They've raised 140M USD from Sequoia, General Catalyst, Khosla Ventures, and Lux Capital. The global cobot market sits at $3.4B in 2026 and is projected to reach $12.6B by 2033, with shipments growing at 17.3% CAGR through 2030.
Today we introduce Proxie Gen2 to the world. At Cobot we have set out to build something that didn't exist: a robot that moves through real environments and manipulates real objects, autonomously, alongside real people. That's compounding advantage. More on our vision here bit.ly/robotreport
