Happy Liberation Day to All Rwandans! ๐ท๐ผ๐ฅณ
Rwandansโ freedom and the transformation weโve managed, against all odds, was not given by outsiders. In fact, it was earned in SPITE of many of these outsiders, whose stance did not lean towards the survival of the Tutsi, nor of Rwanda, LEAST OF ALL on the forming of a dignified unified nation โ one progressing rapidly. Cognisant of its past but audaciously (perhaps, to Themโข, insolently) ambitious about its future.
Anywhere in the world, ask yourself what position in the dynamic at hand you must hold, to be offended by the oppressedโs achievement of Freedom, and the fierce defence of said Freedom against the re-emergence of threats of which even you cannot deny the existence.
Why would the opinions of those that did not want our Liberation be considered in how we defend this Liberation?
Evidence shows that They, Inc. did not want our Humanity as a people acknowledged then, and therefore we cannot be surprised (and we are not) that sadly, they may not want this Humanity acknowledged now. Some โHumanโ Rights defenders indeed. Perhaps we were always meant to note the profound irony here, and all along, this was only some elaborate joke the world was always meant to laugh at and dismiss.
If so, the plot has been missed because here we are, 32 years on. Fine. Letโs repeat ourselves.
We know WHO believed that all Rwandans should be seen as humans, and have their dignity restored as such. We know who acted on this belief. We know who came our victorious.
In RPA, RPF and Paul Kagame we trust ๐คฒ๐ฟโค๏ธ
The grievances that oppose this granite trust are just variations of the hating and scheming of haters that have always hated and schemed. What a regrettable destiny for them, but we get to choose ours. And will.
Iโm so excited about Rwandaโs future.
Cheers brothers and sisters ๐ค๐ซ
