This is the state of Mumbai outside #Prabhadevi Station—one of the city’s busiest railway stations. Mountains of garbage, unbearable stench, and complete administrative apathy. For years, commuters have suffered while @mybmc and @WesternRly continue their endless blame game instead of doing their jobs. How many complaints, media reports, and monsoons will it take before this basic civic issue is resolved? @mybmcInfra @mybmcSWM @drmbct @mumbaimatterz

But who was consulted before this decision was made? @uk_sport - were you? UNICEF sport partners: @andy_murray @Tanni_GT @AlisSistersClub @DBeckhamOBE @socceraid Do any of you sign up to UK state schools becoming sport-free areas?

State school kids whose parents can afford to pay for football, rugby, netball, hockey or cricket training will still get to nurture their talents and improve their fitness & skills outside school. Whole childhoods without sport .. but who in @UKLabour wants to achieve this?

This means the government wants playing fields to be sold off and not face opposition when it does this, let’s be clear. Private schools (and kids) will get to keep theirs, because they can control their land. State schools will lose their own, shared or borrowed grounds.

We’ve rejected the idea that housing needs to be supported by infrastructure, whether local shops, schools or playing fields. In town hall planning rooms across the country, discussions are taking place such as “they could get there by coach or e-bike, so that’s near enough”.

We saw this coming x.com/LittleNinjaUK/status/1…👇🏾They say "poor kids can play in the street" with delivery vans & e-bikes whizzing by but in truth, without safe local green spaces and playing fields, kids will sit inactive in their homes and the child obesity crisis will worsen.

“Offices should generally be closer to homes, as well as cultural venues, doctors, shops and other amenities. Shared spaces such as parks help the people living in the areas to form communities.” ⁦@CarlosMorenoFr#15mcity@guardiancitiestheguardian.com/cities/2024/…

It just shows that the @fordnation @ThermeCanada deal is ONLY about profit. They know exactly what Ontarians want @OntarioPlace & greenwash the public until they can build their private spa. We, the public, say NO

Grease pens, poster paint - both washable - could be used to "correct" the misinfo on that vinyl siding? (I'd also be okay if the vinyl siding accidentally fell down. Perhaps cargo bikes could accidentally run into it??)

Therme says they’re “democratizing wellness”. Building a black wall to keep out the public isn’t democracy. There is nothing democratic about this deal! #ONpoli #OntarioPlace #OntarioPlaceforAll

Yeah, like where the hell is this supposed to be? That's not Ontario Place. They're just making stuff up now. Sickening.

Absolutely right. In the City context these should be shown where the Pedestrians want to Cross a busy road even when foot over bridge is available. Designers should listen (see) to the desire of the users instead of imposing solutions.
