🌲🏕️ What an unforgettable weekend for our SEND Youth Group at Hindleap Warren Outdoor Centre! Our young people stepped outside their comfort zones, challenged themselves and made memories that will last a lifetime. From hitting the target in archery 🏹 to conquering the high ropes course, soaring down the zip line 🌟 and taking part in many more exciting outdoor adventures, everyone showed fantastic determination, teamwork and resilience. These residential experiences help young people build confidence, develop independence, make new friendships and discover just how much they are capable of. A great afternoon out for our Strive group at Carman Trout Fishery with Brian and David from North West Recovery Communities The group spent four hours learning the basics of fly fishing, with the owner of the fishery taking the time to give everyone a crash course and plenty of encouragement along the way. There was even a moment where one of the young people hooked what looked like a 2lb brown trout. Unfortunately it got away at the last minute. Next time my friend! The group really enjoyed getting outdoors, trying something completely different and spending time together in a relaxed setting. By the end of the session, they were already asking when they could come back.
