ICYMI: My In-Laws Beat, Drove Me Out After My Husband’s Death – Boxer Success' Widow
The widow of late Nigerian boxer, Segun Olanrewaju, popularly known as Success, has spoken out over what she describes as ongoing maltreatment by her husband’s family following his death in Ghana.
In an emotional account, she alleged that she was denied the opportunity to perform certain marital rites and to properly mourn her husband. She further claimed that members of his family accused her of infidelity and questioned the paternity of her first child, describing the child as not belonging to the late boxer.
The widow also alleged that she was physically assaulted, harassed, and threatened with having her child taken away. According to her, she has been excluded from decisions and access to matters concerning her late husband, leaving her feeling isolated and unfairly treated.
