Where are you on this stress curve?
When we enter the Holiday Season, it's good to take note of this curve and work to stay in the GREEN zone.
If you realize you are taking on too much for work, family, friends, or others, then it is time to speak up for yourself. Pull back. o" to the next opportunity and protect your peace.
It's great to be busy and to help others, but you must be mindful of your own stress and energy levels.
Take stock as we enter this second week of December and make mindful decisions.
Your self-care is critical. Knowing your stress levels will help guide your future decisions and allow you to say "No" to tasks that do not resonate with your priorities or sense of purpose.
Stay in the Green Zone if you can. Ask for help if you are in the Yellow Zone and overwhelmed. Your healthcare professional team can help if you find yourself in the Red Zone in the anxiety, panic/anger zone. Call them and make an appointment as soon as you feel you're in the Red Zone.
