Personal update: I was impacted by the layoffs at Meta this morning. Feelings of relief, curiosity, and excitement are mainly what I’m experiencing :) I will be taking some time to reflect before looking for my next role. DMs are open if you’re hiring designers!

We’ve received notice that the Department of Commerce has lifted export controls on Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5. We'll begin restoring access tomorrow, and will share an update soon. We’re grateful to our users for their patience, and to everyone who worked with us on redeploying the models.

Computer use is finally reliable. It just needed a real harness. Now there is one. Starting today, anyone can ship a SOTA browser agent, batteries included. Introducing Browserbase Agents: one prompt and one API call is all you need to automate the whole web.

We've been hard at work packaging up all of our learnings from @trydirector into one convenient place to run, debug, and optimize agents in our dashboard. Now you can build browser agents reliably with @browserbase 🅱️

I always wanted to make things perfect before I could even make them real. the first pancake came into being a few months ago, as an experiment to break that inertia after a conversation with @lukvsm. you can read the story / try it out here - the-first-pancake.vercel.app…

Huge congrats to the team for launching. I set a lot of goals for myself and try to run in a lot of directions, but when life gets busy it’s so easy to lose track. So grateful for folks at places like Tomo building products that push us all towards our full potential. There is immense power in incremental gains, I can’t wait ❤️
It's been 3 years since AI exploded, but nobody's life has improved outside of Silicon Valley. Tomo is for real humans, like my little brother Lucas and 10,000 other humans taking a chance on themselves every single day.

Look mom I made it to a @thatguybg review let’s gooooo
funny and tasteful cinematic launch video - very funny and relatable script - good scroll stopper about Open AI rumor - amazing font. maybe the best I've seen. - beautiful tasteful cinematic shots - fantastic acting. especially @jasonyuan. best acting of any video I've seen. - music is fun. jazz was a good choice to make it feel cheeky - great jason makes fun of himself - I LOVE that they have credits. but - takes a while to say what the product is. still don't really know at the end and there's no CTA. - feels like script could be condensed a little. same joke repeats or is drawn out quite a bit this is as good as it gets for cinematic launch videos. its unique, fun, relatable, and very very well executed. Jason's acting is incredible. if I had a best founder-actor award to give out, he'd receive it. best I've ever seen from any founder maybe ever? I think this video is fantastic for a "we exist" launch meant to communicate the broad mission rather than convert users or investors. most importantly, this particular video communicates something Jason is known for: having taste. crucial for new hires and building momentum for an actual launch. this style video won't go viral, but I don't think that's the intention. there isn't even a waitlist link on the X page. the company is very sprezzatura and its working.
