The headline plays it safe but residents have seen drug users, smoking crack & injecting heroin all over #Southall. We haven't seen more police on the streets or along the canal towpath between Bankside & Blair Peach Primary School. Smoking crack outside of a school is a new low.

Police Let Southall Slip Out of Control Southall deserves better Superintendent Sean Lynch isn't listening to the residents. Our streets are being taken over by open drug use suspected drug dealing street drinking & antisocial behaviour while residents are left intimidated !

Not that old chestnut of Respect Orders again. There simply aren't the police on the streets to enforce existing powers such as PSPOs. A few weeks ago only two PCSOs were left to patrol #Southall Broadway and walked past the street drinkers on South Road. @deirdrecostigan

A voicemail was left for Kam Nagpal during the week, an invitation to meet with residents and she hasn't bothered replying. Hey presto! She pops up this weekend telling residents how to report crime and social behaviour. They already do and don't need patronising. #Southall

Funny how your ‘roving surgery’ ends up being a photo opp, meanwhile drug taking is openly taking place on our streets. Still no answers to who signed off ‘RISE’ without consulting any of the local residents/business community. Next time do your ‘roving surgery’ on Avenue Rd🙄

This is the reality!! Kids witnessing drug use and dealers sprawled all over South road. Kids and Vulnerable forced to walk on the main road just to pass by! Filthy roads!! Anti social behaviour, open needles on the floor, broken pavements, people defacating on the side roads!!

Today Cllrs @kamnagpal & @CllrAnand joined me for a Roving Surgery in Southall Broadway where anti social behaviour is an issue. I've written to Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood to demand Labour's new Respect Orders are rolled out to Southall & we get a new town centre police team.

Southall isn’t fooled by staged walkabouts. Broadway is still drowning in drug use, intimidation and organised begging. A “Roving Surgery” is political theatre, not action. Deliver the town centre police team you promised — or admit this was just another box ticked for show.

This wasn’t a Roving Surgery ,it was a PR lap. Southall Broadway remains a hotspot for drug use, intimidation and organised begging. Residents don’t need photo‑ops or letters to ministers. We need enforcement, visible policing and results. Stop ticking boxes and start delivering

Cllr Anand is responsible for relocating RISE the rehab service to Southall Town Hall without an Equalities Impact Assessment & now residents are facing more drug dealers in the town, preying on service users. Southall is the UK's answer to The Bronx. mylondon.news/news/west-lond…

@JasbirAnand2 @metpoliceuk what are you going to do, to stop #Southall becoming a no go area because of drug dealers, drug users and street drinkers roaming around and fighting one another. Residents feel threatened and there is no sign of action being taken to keep us safe.
