Spring ball is here! Been putting in a lot of work on my punts lately. Focusing on body control, quick short steps, and setting the ball straight Really locked in on my drops—keeping it straight and consistent so I can hit the sweet spot every time and timing my drop to my plant step. Also working on staying aligned: straight steps, balanced, and keeping my right arm still through the motion. Got some great work in with @CoachManzo_ this weekend; broke down film, found mistakes, and worked through drills to fix them. Always improving. Heavy steps = slow energy buildup Light steps = quick whip-like motion Think of it like a sprinter vs. someone stomping. Speed comes from quick ground contact, not heavy force into the ground.
