Reminder that SpaceX isn’t just #1 in rocket launches, it's also #1 in satellite manufacturing (by a wide margin). SpaceX manufactures more satellites than the rest of the world combined!

Trickle down economics is when people making more than 100k are taxed “only" 62%, according to the UK’s next PM. These people would raise taxes to 90% if they could, and after spending it all they’d say 90% isn’t enough.
'It's an end to neoliberalism and trickle-down economics which did not trickle down very much at all.' Andy Burnham signals that he will take a ‘very different’ political direction when he becomes Prime Minister, promising a more 'inclusive approach' to government.

This is a lie. SpaceX has received almost no grant money and subsidies in its history. And the government contracts it got were won through competitive bidding, meaning they were cheaper than the competition. So SpaceX has actually helped the US government *save* money.
You have ‘taken’ over $38 billion from the US government over the last two decades.
Community note
The $38 billion figure includes SpaceX contracts with NASA and the Defense Department for services rendered, Tesla regulatory credits paid by other automakers, and loans that were repaid with interest. NASA estimates its commercial crew program saved $20-30 billion. washingtonpost.com/technology/int… cnbc.com/2020/05/13/nas…

The Chinese economy is going to massively benefit from this. Real estate prices drive all prices, when the rent is cheap businesses have lower costs, there is more competition, people have more disposable income, etc.
China's Real Estate Market has erased all gains from the last 20 years

There is a recurring argument that SpaceX isn’t actually that big because most of their launches are Starlink. It’s like saying Apple isn’t one of the biggest chip designers because they use them for their own products
Replying to @ApoStructura
& once again how many were their own starlink launches…

That’s true, 80% of rockets launched by the US in 2026 so far were SpaceX rockets.
The US would've lost if it wasn't for SpaceX.

Would you mind sending those to Paraguay? You kind of owe us 🇫🇷 one from the whole independence thing

We’re headed for a future where wars become robotics competitions. Robots fighting robots.
I'll never forget how many people didn't understand what I was doing with this proof of concept, and cried that it was impossible for a robot quadruped to handle recoil, and stay on target. Look where we are today. @Ghost_Robotics vision 60 on the range! linkedin.com/posts/chris-kla…

As usual here are my payout stats (correcting for the Tuesday cutoff) Not quite as high as last period’s but still very good. It looks like X’s efforts to reward original content are working.
