Columbus Zoo continues to abuse the system in attempts to intimidate me into silencing ADA advocacy for my autistic son by using my freedom of speech rights. Instead of Porter Wright, today they sent the @FBI. The agents were super nice & chill. Total waste of valuable resources.

After Porter Wright threatened me on behalf of Columbus Zoo over Thanksgiving the day my son had his brain surgery as a kid... I shared the photos of him with a hole in his head. Their legal counsel went on to threaten me further over Christmas. linkedin.com/posts/kevin-fin…

And like clockwork some stupid Columbus Zoo ride attendant said the wrong thing about wrist bands and ruined our trip again. Add that to your list Porter Wright. We are headed home again due to lack of care about my son’s ADA rights and his sensory sensitive needs.

Yeah I guess it hurt their feelings… not sure who’s Columbus Zoo’s or Porter Wrights, but they can share how my son feels now at least. It sucks feeling let down, and hurt.

We learned today that Columbus Zoo no longer accepts comment cards in the membership office. They only accept feedback now via email to info@columbuszoo.org because “policy changed”. That email was always a black hole. I doubt anything changed.

Columbus Zoo will gas light you and tell you their wristband policy is for fraud protection, all the while claiming to be making a push for sustainability, and environmental care. Spoiler, their non-recyclable wristbands pollute the area around the zoo regularly, with zero care.

One of the best places for a wheel chair storage is right before a double flight of stairs, and a few hundred feet of required walking to enter the ride… on brand Columbus Zoo ADA failure as fuck. Add this to the docket Porter Wright?
