Other than Trump, can anyone name another president, former or current, who has petitioned the Supreme Court for immunity? Of the 46 presidents, only 1 has had to request the Supreme Court to rule on whether a former president has immunity. That should tell you all you need.

Abbott has a habit of doing this thing after every mass shooting where he promises action but then provides none.
