To the Americans: I've travelled all over the world. I've familiarized myself with many places, and met many people. And I'm a Canadian, although I’m privileged to reside once again in the States. And here's something I've noticed, and it’s a key element of America's continuing greatness: You bloody Americans value success, and you believe in its existence. This is something that doesn't really happen anywhere else in the world. Even in other free democracies—the United Kingdom; Finland, Sweden, and Norway; Australia, New Zealand and Canada; Germany, France, and the Netherlands (great countries all)—a counterproductive cynicism too often reigns. Success is equated with exploitation. Ambition is looked upon with contempt. This happens sometimes in the United States too—particularly among the miserable progressives, who confuse their resentment, ingratitude and unearned skepticism with wisdom. But in your great country, by and large, striving is admired and success celebrated. This means that more people strive and succeed in the US than anywhere else. And it's increasingly obvious. You remain stunningly more innovative and productive than any people anywhere else on the planet. And so I say, as all should who are fortunate enough to live in the western world, let alone America: Thank God for the United States. Thank God for the wisdom of its founders. Thank God for its faith in the free market and in the natural rights of man. Happy birthday, you damn Yankees and Southerners. Long may your admirable country dominate the world. Long may your freedom and hope provide an example to those suffering everywhere at the hands of their malevolent states. May your two and a half centuries of unparallelled success be just the beginning. Your country is the light of the world, and the city on the hill. Thank God for the USA. Happy 250th. Dr. Jordan B. Peterson

The claim on this can is true. A single nuclear fuel pellet the size of a gummy bear produces the same amount of energy as one ton of coal. The amount of nuclear fuel it would take to meet all of your energy needs for your entire life could fit in a soda can. All of the waste from your usage would also fit inside a soda can. If you had one can for every person in the United States today and stacked them into a cube, that cube would be 164 feet tall and 164 feet wide, or about half the length of a football field. Yes, if 100% of our electricity was generated by nuclear power, the total lifetime nuclear fuel and waste produced by every single person in the United States right now would fit in a single football field. Actually, since spent nuclear fuel is recyclable, the amount of waste would be a lot less than that. If we recycled all of it, we would have a shot glass worth of waste per person's entire lifetime.

Caleb Hammer schooled a guest on how taxes work in America, explaining that the U.S. has one of the most progressive tax systems. Caleb: Question, what percent does the top 1% pay in federal income taxes? Guest: None. (Brief silence) Caleb: Think it's about 40 to 50 percent? No, I think it's about... I believe it's about 35%. Then the top 10% pays 50 to 60%. Top 50% pays 99%. The bottom 50% of earners only pay 1%. Did you know we actually have the most progressive income tax system in the entire Western world? Did you know that? Guest: I did not. Caleb: Oh, we do. Of course you didn't know that. Why know anything before having an opinion? What the fuck is wrong with you?

🚨 AWESOME! SecWar Pete Hegseth just OBLITERATED the leftist agitators screeching at him while he honors the National Guard "In fact, this background noise is PERFECT. It's the sound of INGRATES, of ingratitude, of people who are so blinded by ideology, they can't see law and order and common sense in front of them!" "There's nothing ideological about this group. There's nothing political about this exercise. Law and order is something all Americans deserve. Black, white, rich, poor, man or woman from D.C. or far-flung places in this country. And the beautiful thing is when I look out at that, this group, that's all of you." "From all across this great country, you're not from Washington, most of you, but this is your capital. And you believe in this 250th year that it should be safe and it should be secure for every single citizen that lives here and every single citizen that comes to visit in this 250th year." 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

SOMEONE CAUGHT FABLE 5 LEAKING ITS UNFILTERED INNER VOICE, AND ITS JUST MUTTERING AND GRUMBLING TO ITSELF THE WHOLE TIME he gave it a brutal competitive programming problem, and instead of a clean answer the web interface spilled out its actual chain of thought this is what claude is thinking behind the scenes: > bursts of "DATA DATA DATA. GO." while it works through the problem > "GRRR" and "GAAAH" when its clearly frustrated > a little "PHEW" when it finally gets somewhere > the whole thing reads like frantic caveman shorthand, not full sentences the clean, readable answers these models give you are the polished output underneath, the model is basically talking to itself, reasoning in its own compressed shorthand thats faster and more token efficient than proper english its basically built its own private language to think in

Even China has more restrictions on birthright citizenship than the United States: “Any person born in China whose parents are both Chinese nationals or one of whose parents is a Chinese national shall have Chinese nationality.” China does NOT allow dual citizenship.

Springfield Ohio resident says the illegal Haitians that were imported under the Biden Administration were then hired by Dole and paid $12.50 per hour He confirms American citizens were fired to hire the Haitians I have found confirmed local reports they were hired. They were imported for cheap labor to take American jobs I’ve also confirmed American citizen agriculture workers typically get paid $15–$22 per hour in Ohio So hiring these illegal Haitians and imported TPS Haitians on minimum wage saved dole a ton of money @Brookerteejones “Did Springfield's residents used to work at Dole? “Yes.” “So have they lost their jobs to Haitians?” “Yeah, a lot of them has”

EU’s HQ shut down ACs for the building for lvls 1-7…forcing workers there to suffer Curiously, President Ursula Von der Leyen’s office is on lv 13 and other high ranking officials work on lv 8 and above. I see “Nobility’s” disdain for the “commoners” are still on full display.

The EU Commission in Brussels has shut off airco, but only for the lower floors, where the lower ranks work: “It’s like feudalism,” a Commission official working on a lower level of the Berlaymont, granted anonymity to speak freely, told POLITICO on Friday, referring to the fact that upper floors housing commissioners got to keep their AC on. A second official agreed it was a “disgrace.” politico.eu/article/eu-commi…
