And letting Fable use @steipete `autoreview` skill after each iteration also feels like a superpower (added that to my AGENTS/CLAUDE.md file) It's definitely token hungry but OpenAI subscription is very generous...

And making fable review the autoreview results and cleanup any defensive or un-needed code paths is just pure gold. "my review of the review-driven fixes removed..."

This was a follow up to
Using fable as an orchestrator that runs codex sessions for implementation and validation (using computer-use) is incredible. It *might* actually be worth using in API-mode once Fable is not avail in the sub. Can't wait to see how GPT 5.6 Sol will work, exciting days ahead 🥹

As someone who’s very sensitive to heat I’m so happy I don’t live in an AC-limiting country. Feels like torture (also heat makes you dumber)
In Brussels for the first time. My hotel tells me I can't control the A/C because of the environment. They promise they will keep it at 26C for me the whole time. We are staying for only 3 days, so they will not clean my room or change my towels. I have to take the trash out of the room myself. This is so bizarre. I want to find a way to make sense of this, but it's hard not to make the cynical observation that the hotel is benefiting at the guests' expense.

“Some routine tasks such as coding and debugging will fallback to Opus 4.8” - so what the hell are they releasing?
Claude Fable 5 will be available again globally tomorrow. After a series of productive conversations with the US government, we're redeploying the model with a new set of classifiers to target and block more cybersecurity tasks. In the near term, some routine tasks like coding and debugging will fall back to Opus 4.8. We’ll continue to refine these classifiers over the coming weeks to reduce false positives and better distinguish genuine misuse from legitimate requests. We’ve also begun drafting a consensus framework—with Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and other Glasswing partners—for assessing the severity of AI jailbreaks and how AI developers should respond to them. We invite other industry partners and model providers to join us in this effort. Finally, we’re scaling up our collaboration with the US government on model testing and safeguards. This will include pre-release access to models and safeguards for evaluation, information sharing on jailbreaks and misuse, and dedicated resources for joint research. Thank you to our users for your patience, and to our partners across the government, industry, and the research community who worked alongside us to make Fable 5 available again. this.
Dumb post. It's just a portal into software you're already running on your computer. The mobile app is obviously not "insecure" in any meaningful way. Also worth noting the insane amount of hardening work the OpenClaw maintainers have done to address the security concerns on the host side. It's genuinely pretty safe now, enough for Microsoft to be using it heavily.

Advanced Codex users. We shipped a replacement to coarse sandbox modes: reusable, inheritable permission profiles binding OS-enforced file read/write/deny rules (even **/*.env) to per-domain network Unix sockets. Plus fail-closed admin allowlists. Least privilege per task. developers.openai.com/codex/…

I do find myself use Opus 4.8 more and more (was codex zealot for a long time). It's great for UI/frontend/localization... etc' So when I get this after 12 minutes of work done I want to cry

Pretty critical - running hermes with ZERO reported security disclosures (impossible they have none, they just ignore them) is risky business.
They copied a lot of features, but they skipped security hardening, not a single report published.

People here discussing what happened with OpenClaw. The hype died down. We improved quality and grew a team. We created a non-profit whereas competiors are VC funded and have other agendas. This is our strongest week so far.
New NPM all time high record for @openclaw, going from strength to strength!

Woohoo (lol)
JUST IN: The White House says it has signed the MOU and will lift the blockade of Fable 5 as soon as Friday, provided that Dario Amodei hands over all of the weapons-grade model weights. Under the terms of the deal, Dario may maintain a limited civilian inference program, provided full compliance with the newly established International Artificial Intelligence Agency (IAIA), the U.S.-led coalition unveiled at the G7. IAIA inspectors will be granted unannounced access to Anthropic's enrichment facilities to verify no checkpoint is enriched past 70% on DeepSWE or Humanity's Last Exam. Anything above that is has no known civilian uses. Additionally, Anthropic agrees to spin down 6,000 H100s training clusters, and use them solely for Sonnet 4.6 chatbots. No additional underground datacenters will be built. Space Force will be monitoring by satellite. Snapback provisions reinstate the blockade automatically if Mythos is detected breaching the terms of the agreement. Demis Hassabis confirmed DeepMind will join the IAIA as a co-signatory. Sam Altman could not be reached for comment.
