When you send SLOW, recipients get ERC-1155 receipts as alert. Which unlocks after the delay. Until that point, the transfer is completely reversible. With a built-in keeper system, everything is abstracted. Bob sends $USDC or $ETH, Alice gets $USDC or $ETH. Bob feels safer.
