WHAT IS THE ONE PIECE TREASURE? - 🧡 It is my belief after my extensive research that Oda has already provided us with enough information to put the pieces together and realize what Joyboy, Gear 5th, and the One Piece treasure really are! Let's break it down!! πŸ‘‰ (1/25)

I feel review culture has rotted the fandom when people think a 7/10 is a bad score 😭, a 7 still means a show is great, just not a masterpiece. At the same time I've had people often blast me for giving other One Piece media 9s and higher for being "too much of a OP glazer", but while I know that's just a Goomba Fallacy, I hope people can enjoy things more beyond just being "peak" or "mid". My basic thoughts: it's not the best OP piece of media we've gotten and I feel they could've done more, but it's pretty good! Please go watch it, it's a lot of fun! And I hope we get more adaptations and short films like these!!

An ad for vol 115 appears to show Imu with yellow eyes. However, given how Oda's own promotional message for the volume has a drawing with red eyes, we can assume the yellow was just a stylistic choice by the ad #OnePiece

Oda talks about... uh... uhm, Franky's cock size #SBS115 Reader: [Addressed at Franky's new VA] Subaru Kimura-san, hello. Is it true your cock measures the same as Franky's at 8 cm? Subaru: Correct. It is 8cm wide in girth. Oda: DAMN, THAT'S A THICK BOY!!! But hold on, I never confirmed Franky's being 8cm wide!!

Oda confirms that he is involved with the anime's casting for important characters #SBS115 R: I've heard Joyboy's VA is Urara Takano-san, right?! The one and only first person to have ever given voice to Luffy!! O: Correct. For important characters, voice actors are chosen after I review the audition recordings. But this time, I asked for a personal request. Urara Takano-san had voiced Luffy in an OVA made for a special event prior to the creation of the One Piece anime by Toei. So I bet you'll never guess why I thought she'd be a good pick for it! lol

Oda gives info on Xebec! #SBS115 R: Odacchi, heso!! Please tell us the age, favorite food, least favorite food, and all the juicy details on Rocks D. Xebec!! O: Sure. He was 435cm tall. At the time of God Valley, he was 43. If he were still alive that would make him 81 (7 years older than Whitebeard). Favorite food: yaminabe [dark hotpot], sheep maruyaki, and particularly BacardΓ rum. Disliked foods: cheese and milk.

Oda explains the meaning of Road's suffix "-taso"! #SBS115 R: Odacchi, heso!! What does "-taso" mean? O: Right. I'm not exactly fluent in "otakunese" but... back in the day, otaku would use a lot samurai expressions like "degozaru" or refer to cute girls as "xx-tan" as nicknames. At the same time, there's this internet slang where the katakana ン ("n"/"m") would intentionally get misstyped as the katakana γ‚½ ("so") since they look so similar, essentially replacing "n"/"m" with "s" making certain meme words like "pesis" or "cosputer". So, as far as I understand, both of those subcultures crossed over to call cute things as "-taso". A relic of the times of the so-called moe culture. What we'd now call oshi culture, or fandom culture. Which that too, in time, will change.

Oda gives more info on each of the Elbaph kids! #OnePiece R: Hello Odacchi. I love the Elbaph kids, they're adorable! How old are they each? Is the school an elementary school? O: Sure. Think of the Walrus School like an elementary school. Giant children of around ages 18 to 36 attend. So anyway let me introduce the children who were caught. Here, (()) is to symbolize their age in human years. If you can remember Colon, Ylva, and Bjorn that's enough. 1: Colon (20) ((7)) (Admires Giant Warrior Pirates) Gaban and Ripley's kid 2: Ylva (21) ((7)) (Good Girl) (Yarul's Great-great-grandaughter) 3: Skaldi (34) ((11)) (Bad Boy) 4: Olav (19) ((6)) Oimo is his grandfather (Hates Pirates) 5: Karin (23) ((7)) (Socially Awkward) 6: Mag (30) ((10)) (Hates Studying) 7: Ronya (27) ((9)) (Class Prez) 8: Bent (25) ((8)) (Scared of his Mother) 9: Yohanna (28) ((9)) (Has no Parents) 10: Bjorn (33) ((11)) Road (63) ((21)) is his big brother (Hates otaku even though his brother is one)

Oda finally addresses Pell's line about flying devil fruits and about airplanes in the One Piece world! #SBS115 R: Oda-sensei!! A question! Didn't Pell say "only five flying devil fruits are known to exist"? But we've seen way more than that, I don't get it... please explain!! O: Damn, that's a deep cut lol. So a lot of fans have certainly had a lot to say about this for a long while, but from my perspective, think about it, how could anyone know for certain everything about everyone around the world? Take for example, there were several Tontatta who could fly! But who'd know about them? So yeah lol. The answer would just be "it's something Pell heard about". But with that said, this line holds a different special meaning for me; while I could come up with any number of flying abilities, I left this line to remind myself to not overdo it! You might also wonder, both culturally and scientifically, why they haven't developed airplanes despite having the technology for it, but it's because the world is built in a way that things are just barely stopped from evolving towards that direction! Lol, but why? Because it's a manga about pirates! Sea! Boats! So we can't have a world where everyone just zwoooooooms around like that! That was my thought process when writing that line. So even going forward with the story flying should be a rare thing. I'll commit to that stance!

Oda reveals Marco's past! #SBS115 R: Is the Polo Gram who appears in Chapter 1165 Marco's father? Their names together make out "Marco Polo", what a fun play on words β™ͺ O: Yeah no point in hiding this any longer lmao. You're right. Turns out, his real full name is "Polo Marco" (γƒγƒΌγƒγƒ»γƒžγƒ«γ‚³). At the time of the God Valley incident, Marco had already been born, but he wasn't yet a pirate. But after Gram, who had become Whitebeard's "partner" and comrade (η›Έζ£’), ended up dying, his son Marco hopped aboard, eventually becoming even more trusted and his right hand man (右腕).

Oda reveals the inspiration for Gloriosa! #SBS115 R: I love reading this manga, so I had a question about Gloriosa. Is she based off of Brigitte Bardot? O: Woah!! You noticed?! Indeed!! Look her up online and you should see it immediately!! For Elder Nyon I wanted to depict an "aging beauty" so to reference her facial features I used as model France's actress beauty of old at both her youth and after!

Oda reveals the former kingdom of Rusukaina! #SBS115 R: We know that there once used to be a kingdom on Rusukaina, but I want to know what its name was! O: Previously on Rusukaina was the Ottankaina Kingdom (γ‚ͺγƒƒγ‚Ώγƒ³γ‚«γ‚€γƒŠηŽ‹ε›½). Note: Rusukaina is a pun, translating to "Anyone home?". Ottankaina translates to "I was home".

Oda reveals the homeland of the longleg people! #SBS115 R: The country where the longarms live is called the Tehna Gehna Kingdom, but surely there's also a country where the longlegs live in as well? O: The country of the longlegs is called the Asshina Gainone Kingdom (γ‚’γƒƒγ‚·γƒŠγƒ»γ‚¬γ‚€γƒŽγƒηŽ‹ε›½) Note: Asshina Gainone is a pun on Ashi nagai no ne, which means "their legs are long"
