Belgium isn’t upset because the US is at full strength. They’re upset because FIFA made a call, then decided the call didn’t matter.
This isn’t about competitive advantage.
It’s about the integrity of the rules.
What exactly is Belgium upset about??
That they don’t get a competitive advantage to play a USA team missing one of their best players?

Let's be really clear here, Belgium are not fussed about the player himself - they are fussed about the corruption and precedent set. They are willing to take a stand for the integrity of the sport, and that should be respected.
FIFA and the US should not get away with this.
Belgian FA to consider their options regarding the decision to scratch Balogun's suspension. And rightly so. Our expectations were low and fair play, FIFA have gone under them with ease.

This all started with Ronaldo somehow escaping a ban that would have ruled him out of the first two World Cup games.
