On va parler simplement.

I'm still waiting for my first check from Big Oil. Must be lost in the mail. 🙄
Climate nutters think that anyone who disagrees with them is paid by “Big Oil.” They cannot cope with the fact that hundreds of millions of people just don’t share their narcissistic ideological worldview. If you disagree, you must be a “grifter.” I cannot speak for others, but as for me personally, I have never taken oil money, and the organization I do contract work for hasn’t since 2007 (alarmists cannot find receipts more recent than that). HeII, the vast majority of O&G companies are now invested heavily in the renewable energy sector. They aren’t paying anyone to “sow doubt” about “climate change.” The real COIs are scientists employed by outlets like Climate Central and World Weather Attribution who continue to receive funding from the Bezos Earth Fund and numerous other environmental advocacy groups. But alarmists will hang on their every word. You could also strongly argue that most academics and federal employees hired as “research scientists” at organizations like NOAA and particularly NASA are compromised because their salaries and grants are paid for using taxpayer dollars, which the government only allocates to study “problems.” If the scientific community came out today and admitted honestly that “There is no climate crisis,” their funding would dry up immediately. Federal employees and academics are often told by their supervisors what they can and cannot say about the climate issue. I have family members and friends who are federal employees who can vouch for that, and I know recent hires at universities who share my views that are required by contract to toe the line. When real debate isn’t allowed, you are effectively practicing religion, not engaging the scientific method.

"Nevermind." - Emily Litella (aka, Gilda Radler)
MOUs NOTE: under PM Chrétien, Canada led massive "Team Canada" trade missions to emerging markets like China, India, and Russia, resulting in the signing of hundreds of MOUs. OUTCOME: A landmark study by UBC's Sauder School of Business tracked these agreements and discovered they generated NO statistically significant increase in bilateral trade or export volumes.

Yes. He. Is. That sound more definitive? 🙄
You’re being much more polite than I would be Gary. He promised all manner of things and hasn’t delivered anything. He is an absolute failure as a Prime Minister.

Remember when she was considered the brain trust of the Liberals? Recall her saying if we didn’t hike the capital gains tax havoc would rule? Almost hilarious in retrospect, if it weren’t for all the real damage she inflicted on Cdn families. Another disgusting Liberal autocrat.
The woman who froze the bank accounts of Freedom Convoy supporters is calling the US a plutocracy?

Alberta’s NDP has long advocated for a southern pipeline to safely deliver our products to market. We are glad to see progress on the southern line. Canada works best when we collaborate with our provincial and federal partners to get the work done. Read my full statement: albertandpcaucus.ca/news/pos

Oh c'mon man. You know how the game is played. CTV is owned by Bell Media, part of BCE. Owes its life to the telecom oligopoly in Cda. Without it, they'd face actual int'l competition. That's why CTV sucks up to the Libs.
Of note, and surprise to many, CTV News doesn’t receive the media subsidy. And yet, they are our worst news network. Certainly our worst during Covid. The Star doesn’t hide its intellectual laziness and tankie-subversion streak. Meanwhile, Bell feigns editorial balance and legitimacy. I know which of those approaches I find to be more corrosive to Canada’s often ginned-up national consciousness.

Oddly, Liberal voting civil service pensioners would lose their minds if their climate policy hysteria were to come true, as the revenues to pay their pensions would dry up They’d quickly short-arse away from their climate bedwetting the instant their cheques stopped
Oil & gas profits are real (thanks to global prices your “green” policies blocking pipelines & new supply). They pay billions in royalties & taxes that fund services—while carbon taxes just hike your gas by 7-17±/L with zero net global emission cut. Pierre’s in Opposition: his job is calling out failed Net Zero that weakened the loonie & added 38±/L hidden costs. He’s pledged to axe the taxes & fast-track projects. That’s action. Climate changes—always has. Your grandkids need affordable energy, jobs & prosperity more than virtue-signal taxes that hurt Canadian families while China builds coal plants. Profits aren’t the enemy; energy poverty is. Wake up. @PierrePoilievre @GasPriceWizard

Canada is not the US. Their economy is huge. Ours is tiny. It's not about doing zero trade with China. It's about power. Who holds it. Who doesn't. We don't. They do.
China is the US’s biggest trading partner now! It’s great for Trump to allow complete access and subservience to China but when Canada needs to diversify trade and get tariffs removed by China we’re the bad guys? Please.

There's nothing fake about credit, mate. If you want to know what life was life before credit was a thing, look back 100-150 yrs. When the average lifespan was less than 35 yrs. That your idea of heaven?
it's all a fake economy based on debt.

There is nothing dangerous about Albertans voting. What is dangerous is Ottawa’s belief that Alberta should pay, obey, and remain quiet. Prime Minister Carney’s “dangerous bluff” comment is not an argument. It is a threat dressed up as political messaging. LetAlbertaDecide.com

Yeah. Another rule: voters hate the word 'sacrifice' - which is another reason why fiscal conservatives are at a huge disadvantage in this big spending, entitlement crazed country.
Or how rational and cogent your policies are

I grew up in Windsor. A mile from Detroit. Where my dad and my uncles worked. Where half my schoolmates were from. So I've always felt as American as I am Cdn. I guess that's why I often feel like I'm on the outside looking in in this country.
Frankly, I was not surprised. Canadians grew up on a steady diet of anti-Americanism and other liberal trope. They’ve been fed this in schools, on the tv and just about any media. So when Carney was installed, I knew it was a done deal.
