😲 A 990,000-yuan (US$145,759) humanoid robot with only 2 to 4 hours of battery life?
Ubtech’s new UWORLD U1 went viral in China after its high price tag and short battery life sparked debate online. Some users joked: Is it here to keep me company, or am I here to take care of it?
Ubtech said 2 to 4 hours is common for full-size humanoid robots.
The company also stressed that the robots are designed for emotional companionship, not as boyfriends, girlfriends, or romantic partners.
