In other news today, we are so excited to welcome a new team member, Mehdi Malek, as our VP of Manufacturing. He brings 22 years of expertise as a Principal Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineer to the team. Mehdi was raised in Berkeley; he obtained his degree in Mechanical Engineering from, you guessed it, the University of California, Berkeley. We could not be more excited to bring Mehdi on to the team to fulfill our mission to accelerate frontier hardware companies. Welcome to the team!!!

Today, we’re excited to share that @AskariDefense has raised a $9M seed round led by @BuildersVC to accelerate our work building hand-launched, autonomous interceptors for the operators closest to the fight. Our focus is simple: give dismounted teams a lightweight, kinetic, fire-and-forget capability against hostile drones without waiting on a vehicle, a fixed site, or a perfect RF environment. We’ve already secured major contracts, delivered systems to demanding government customers, and proven that small teams can move fast in one of the most urgent defense categories in the world. The future of counter-UAS is not just bigger systems. It’s smaller, faster, more autonomous, and carried by the people who need it most. Does @WisprFlow monitor the audio output of a computer? I am playing a podcast in the background and using speech-to-text, but it's not picking up the audio. I'm sure this is simple from their perspective. But damn, what a kick-ass product.

Good morning. Last night at 8:51pm Mountain Time, the Valar Atomics Nuclear Operations team brought Ward 250 to 10kW thermal output. We held this power level throughout the night. This is another historic milestone from the Valar team, marking first nuclear power by a startup.
