2013年、日本中を熱狂させた作品──『ラブライブ！』。 今日は、その作品を私たちなりの方法で再解釈してみようと思います。 『ラブライブ！』は、2010年にKADOKAWA（旧アスキー・メディアワークス）、バンダイナムコ、サンライズの3社によって始まったスクールアイドルプロジェクトです。 アニメ放送後、日本だけでなく世界中で愛され、多くの人に”アイドル”という文化の新しい魅力を届けました。 その想いは ・ラブライブ！サンシャイン!! ・虹ヶ咲学園スクールアイドル同好会 ・ラブライブ！スーパースター!! へと受け継がれ、今もなお多くのファンに愛されています。 今回選んだのは、その原点であるμ’sのメンバー、星空凛。 『Snow halation』 『僕たちはひとつの光』 今でも多くの人の心に残る名曲とともに、凛もまた忘れられない存在です。 皆さんが思い浮かべる星空凛は、どんな姿でしょうか。 私たちは、その思い出を壊したいわけではありません。 新しい作品として、もう一度表現してみたい。 それが、このプロジェクトです。 これは破壊ではなく、新しい作品へ繋がる創作の過程。 いつか、新しい姿で生まれ変わります。 次に見てみたいアニメ作品やキャラクターがあれば、ぜひコメントで教えてください。 Few anime changed idol culture like Love Live! did in 2013. Today, we’d like to reinterpret one of its most memorable figures in our own way. Launched in 2010 through a collaboration between KADOKAWA, Bandai Namco, and Sunrise, Love Live! became much more than an anime. It introduced a new generation of school idols and inspired millions of fans around the world. Its legacy continues through • Love Live! Sunshine!! • Nijigasaki High School Idol Club • Love Live! Superstar!! and remains one of anime’s most beloved franchises. Today, we’ve chosen Rin Hoshizora, one of the original members of μ’s. From Snow halation to Bokutachi wa Hitotsu no Hikari, μ’s created memories that still resonate with fans today. When you think of Rin, what do you remember most? Her smile? Her energy? A favorite performance? We’re not trying to erase those memories. We’re trying to express them in a different form. This isn’t destruction. It’s the beginning of another work of art. 私たちにとって、フィギュアは完成された「作品」ではありません。 新しい創作が始まるための、一つの出発点です。 フィギュアは、クリエイターが生み出したキャラクターや世界観を形として表現した存在です。 そして私たちにとっては、その世界観やキャラクターを、別の形で表現するための媒体でもあります。 私たちは、その先にある新しい可能性を信じています。 今は、ただ壊しているように見えるかもしれません。 ですが、私たちにとってこれは破壊ではありません。 新しい表現へ辿り着くための過程です。 前回のプロジェクトでは、多くの人に愛されてきた「初音ミク」のフィギュアを、私たちなりの解釈で表現しました。 長年愛されてきたキャラクターだからこそ、さまざまな反応があることも予想していました。 その反応も、このプロジェクトの一部だと考えています。 私たちはこれからも、さまざまなキャラクターを私たちの方法で新しく表現していきます。 次は、どんな姿へ生まれ変わるのでしょうか。 その物語を、最後まで見届けていただけたら嬉しいです。これは終わりではありません。新しい物語の始まりです。 To us, figures are not the final product. They are the beginning of another creation. A figure is a physical expression of the characters and worlds created by artists. For us, it is also a medium through which those worlds can be reinterpreted and expressed in a new way. We see possibilities beyond what already exists. At first glance, it may look like nothing more than destruction. But to us, this is not destruction. It is part of the creative process that leads to something new. In our previous project, we reimagined a figure of Hatsune Miku—one of the most iconic characters in anime culture. We knew there would be many different reactions from her fans. And that’s okay. Every reaction becomes part of this project’s story. We will continue to reinterpret beloved characters in our own way and give them new forms. So… What will the next transformation become?
