The disrespect may have been loudest tonight, but ENHYPEN, we hope you know that what you heard and what you had to endure does not represent the entire fandom. What happened tonight was cruel. There is no other word for it. For months, you have done nothing but show up for all of us. You have spent countless hours rehearsing, traveling, performing, and giving everything you have on every stage you do because you wanted to give ENGENEs the best show possible. Tonight, some people chose to throw every bit of that back in your faces. We are so, so sorry. You did not deserve to stand on that stage and hear disrespect from people who claimed to be your fans. You did not deserve to have your sincerity met with disrespect or your years of sacrifice repaid with humiliation. You deserved so much better. To the people responsible, stop calling yourselves ENGENEs if your respect only exists on your own terms. Publicly humiliating six people who have dedicated years of their lives to this group and chose to push even harder when everything around them was at its messiest is not something any decent fan should ever be capable of doing. If you can watch ENHYPEN give everything they have on that stage and still choose to disrespect them, then you have completely forgotten what being an ENGENE is supposed to mean. If your response to six people giving you their all is to publicly humiliate them, then you failed ENHYPEN big time. The only people you disgraced tonight were yourselves. No amount of frustration justifies treating another human being that way, especially artists who have never stopped showing gratitude and respect to the people they call their fans. We cannot apologize enough. We’re so sorry that after everything you have done since March, this was what greeted you tonight. We are sorry that instead of hearing the love you deserved, you were forced to hear people trying to make you feel unwelcome. We are sorry that after giving your hearts to this stop, some people chose to repay you with disrespect. We only hope every stop that follows reminds you of the love and respect you should have received tonight. ENHYPEN, please do not let tonight convince you that your fans in the rest of the world are like this. Please do not let what happened tonight make you believe that this is how the rest of the world feels about you. It isn’t. There are millions of us who watched tonight with nothing but anger and heartbreak because we know how hard you have worked for this tour while carrying so much behind the scenes. We know how much you’ve sacrificed. We know how much of yourselves you continue to pour into every performance. That is why watching you endure this hurt so much. This is not what you deserve. You deserve a crowd that cheers because you walked onto the stage. You deserve to leave every concert knowing you were appreciated, not wondering why your sincerity was met with cruelty. You deserve kindness, gratitude, and bove all, you deserve respect. When you come to our countries, we promise to do everything we possibly can to make sure you are surrounded by the love, appreciation, and respect that should have surrounded you tonight.
