For June's Helping Hands event, and in celebration of #TogetherTuesday, the #SeaDubs were excited to collaborate with Santa Cruz Community Connection to support their Mental Health for Good: Volunteer Day in the Park! Volunteers rolled up their sleeves for a morning of weeding, mulching, and planting to revitalize Harvey West Park for the community to enjoy🌱

Today is Together Tuesday, and to celebrate, I joined forces with fellow @GivingTuesday Spark leader Sammie Vance of @SammieBenches Together we spoke with over 100 amazing second grade students at a local #sacramento elementary school. Sammie zoomed in from across the country in Indiana, and TOGETHER we spread some kindness and environmental literacy by sharing our stories and donating a beautiful brand-new buddy bench - made entirely from recycled materials to David Lubin’s playground. Early literacy is so crucial, I’m grateful I have the chance to give kids the resources they need to be literate from a young age! Along with literacy, giving the gift of friendship through a buddy bench was an incredibly experience and I’m grateful to Sammie for her help with this project!
