Good morning homies...
Success is not a one time event. It is the result of the small consistent habits you form and the choices you make everyday. Success isn't an accident. It's predictable.
Don't be a servant to your circumstances. Choose to focus on what you can control. Because the only real control you have are the choices you make in response to that which comes your way.
And today I get to put that into action. We have prepared for weeks for today's last big push to close out our current project. Got a phone call in the middle of the night that throws the proverbial monkey wrench in said plans.
In the past, this would produce some anxiety and quite possibly a bit of anger. But you see, I am just a servant. My Master saw fit to allow this. He is the One who is in control. And because Jesus is my King, I will follow. For the Father knew this situation would come up long before I ever set the plan in motion.
Therefore I choose to embrace this challenge as an opportunity to grow. It is an honor and privilege to watch my God orchestrate opportunities for me to put my full faith and trust in Him and take action. These are the opportunities I speak of that give us the chance to grow stronger. To learn to adapt. To gain wisdom, insight and knowledge. To further our skill sets and add value to the marketplace. Because the marketplace pays for value.
I can choose this mindset because there is nothing outside God's control. There is nothing He cannot command. I know with certainty that all things work out for good to those who love Him. I am told He knows the plans He has for me, to give me a hope and a future. I know that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. I know that I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. For He is my Rock and my fortress. And He opens doors that no man can shut. And closes doors no man can open.
When life throws you a bag of lemons at you, give them to the Living Water. Because He can make more than just lemonade.
