so ziyu posted these pics on weibo a few hours ago.
yunis were in the comments doing exactly what you'd expect from normal fan: calling him hot as hell, boyfriend material, hyping the muscles, barking, giggling, losing our minds over the glow-up... just normal fan behavior.
then i scrolled a little further.
"why did he gain muscle?"
"this is photoshopped."
"yueyue don't bulk up, mimis don't like it."
"it's yunis' fault for saying they like manly ziyu."
"we prefer skinny, dainty yueyue."
"you're ruining our fantasy."
"please lose weight."

and i just started laughing because... of course it's the predictable cpfs(shippers). 😭
like imagine being this upset because a grown man went to the gym and bulked up???
the funniest one has to be "yunis made him gain muscles."
i'm sorry... are we talking about ziyu here?? 😭 the same ziyu that has never been a people pleaser? the same ziyu who's stubborn as hell and does whatever he wants? the same man who'll hear "don't do that" and immediately do it anyway just to spite control freak fans?
which exactly why yunis love and respect him so much.
so pls be serious for five seconds.
the idea that he'd change his body just because fans told him to is actually hilarious.
he gained muscle because he WANTED TO. that's literally it.
and that's what really gets them.
because every decision he makes for himself tears another page out of the fanfiction they've been trying to force onto him for months. they want him to stay small, dainty and "wife-coded" forever because that's the version that fits their ship.
meanwhile yunis are over here supporting the actual person.
