There is no harem. There never was.
The author explained it very clearly: this story is designed like a story-driven game, not a “everyone ends up with everyone” situation.
Milton and Kendrick were meant to be early bosses that you later befriend by raising affinity.
Two routes. Two possibilities. Different timelines.
What we’re seeing in the story is Kendrick’s route.
Milton’s route also exists, just in another “what if” timeline.
And the good part is that Milton doesn’t get left behind.
He will have his own partner soon, and we’ll get to see him happy, building his home and raising his child with someone who truly fits by his side 🤍
In the end, the author chose Kendrick as the player choice.
One becomes the partner, the other remains a trusted companion. That’s it.
So yeah…
