Another week, another step towards a more inclusive future. We hosted a Community-Based Inclusive Development (CBID) webinar with the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection (@LabourSPKE ), bringing together key stakeholders to explore how the national framework can be translated into meaningful action. The DIECD Baseline Study progressed across Nairobi, Samburu, and Murang'a counties through county entry meetings, research assistant training, and ongoing data collection to strengthen disability-inclusive early childhood development. Our Director of Programs, Stephen Ikonya, represented TAF at Raspberry Fields in Cambridge, UK, joining global partners to share ideas and strengthen inclusive computing education. In Kajiado County, we conducted the MNCH Baseline Assessment, generating evidence to improve disability-inclusive maternal, newborn, and child health services. Together with Rafiki Wa Mtaa, we distributed dignity kits to street children, including girls with and without disabilities, in Nairobi, promoting menstrual health, dignity, and inclusion. Looking ahead, we're preparing for the MoU signing with Murang'a County under the Disability Prevention Rehabilitation Program (DPRP) this coming week. Swipe through to see this week's highlights. Image Description: A carousel of 7 posters highlighting TAF's activities from last week, 29th June to 5th July 2026. #WeareTAF #DisabilityInclusion #CBID #DIECD #MNCH #InclusiveDevelopment #DigitalInclusion #LeavingNoOneBehind

If you’ve been wondering how to support the disability community this Disability Pride Month, here’s one meaningful way. 🤲🏽 Support inclusive fashion. At IncluNorm Fashion, we’re creating adaptive clothing that will be donated directly to people with disabilities through our partner disability organisations. Every ₦10, ₦100, ₦1000 you donate will make this possible. For many people, getting dressed isn’t something they can take for granted. A wheelchair user may struggle to reach the pockets on a pair of trousers because they were designed to be accessed while standing. Someone with limited mobility in their hands may find something as simple as buttoning a shirt exhausting or impossible without assistance. An amputee may struggle to find clothing that comfortably accommodates a prosthetic limb. Someone with sensory sensitivities may have to completely avoid certain clothes because the fabric, seams, or fastenings cause discomfort. These aren’t limitations created by a disability. They are created by the designs. That’s why every outfit from IncluNorm Fashion is intentionally designed to remove barriers. We are creating stylish outfits with easy-to-use fastenings, accessible pocket placements, adaptive silhouettes and thoughtful construction, proving that fashion can be beautiful, functional, and inclusive at the same time. This Disability Pride Month, we’re inviting you to help us put more adaptive outfits into the hands of the people who need them most. 💚 Sponsor an adaptive outfit. 💚 Donate any amount: ₦500, ₦1,000, ₦5,000 or more. Every contribution brings us closer to dressing someone with greater comfort, confidence, and independence. 💚 If you’re a business, foundation, or corporate organisation, partner with us to fund adaptive clothing for disability communities as part of your CSR or social impact initiatives. 💚 If you’re a fashion designer or fashion house, donate your African fabric offcuts, surplus textiles, and unused materials. Together, we can turn them into adaptive garments that change lives. Fashion has always been about expression. Let’s make sure everyone has the opportunity to express themselves. Thank you for believing in a future where fashion is designed for every body. Please share and repost. 💚 #IncluNormFashion #AdaptiveFashion #DisabilityPrideMonth #DisabilityInclusion

🚆♿💷 Britain's inaccessible transport system is costing the UK economy a staggering £176.4 billion. New research from IMechE reveals that millions of people are being locked out of work, education and everyday life because our transport networks are not designed for everyone. The message from engineers is clear: accessibility is not a social cost. It is one of the UK's biggest untapped economic growth opportunities. 📖 Read the new report: imeche.org/news/news-article… #InclusiveTransport #EconomicGrowth #DisabilityInclusion @biztradegovuk @transportgovuk
