This week, we were helping a brand (7 Figure Seller) that suddenly got hit with one of those dreaded review manipulation notices. No real explanation. No clear details. Just the classic “You’ve violated our policy” message. In moments like these, the natural reaction is to panic. But here’s the thing I’ve learned over time: Escalating too fast, getting angry, or pushing back blindly almost never works. So, we slowed it down. Did a full account deep dive. Cross-checked all promotions, offers, communications everything. Carefully documented everything, lined it up with Amazon’s TOS, and worked directly (and respectfully) with the Seller Performance team. And here’s the kicker? After all that, Amazon admitted they sent the violation by mistake. They apologized. The case was closed. No further action needed.
