lots of twitter design engineering content is microinteractions and animation work, whereas the 95% should be ripping through feature prototypes and pulling weeds in the app*. You gotta put yourself on the critical path folks *both of which produce excellent content btw

Part of what makes me happy to be back in SF, at least for a little while, is the opportunity to get out of the office and see designers cook interesting things. Kudos @gormankind @ben_issen, this is awesome!

the debate about taste missed that it isn’t really about training a model to have some general notion of taste I’m much more excited about tools to inscribe your taste onto your agent go make the model's judgement uniquely yours! done right it's a mirror into your creativity

taste is driven by obsessives at the fringe taste fairly gets hate when its mistaken as the glossed over, safe artifact you might see in a restoration hardware catalog or set against an ecru white wall find me people instead who can't explain why they curated dozens of supercomputer ads from 1976. niche, specific and intentional wins, and the people who win over and over again here tend to form passionate, creative lives around it that might just feel strange to an outsider
