Aside doing Product Marketing at Busha, Fareedah A. romanticises traveling and tries to make a trip whenever she can.
Her daily life is usually a mix of work, and the daily adulthood requirements that has to be dealt with some intentionality. Part of that adulthood requirements was having to tick her traveling bucket list.
Imagine having dreams of seeing more of West Africa as a child, but never fulfilling those dreams until adulthood. Well, dreams can’t be bought, so she bought a ticket instead; first to the Republic of Benin, then to Lomé, before wrapping it up in Ghana where she spent four days before returning home.
One of the highlights of her trip was having to celebrate her birthday across countries, blowing out candles on croissants instead of cake, and eating an unreasonable amount of buttery pastries.
Planning travels could get a random person overthinking about costs, and projecting African travel as second-tier, but for Fareedah, her advice is simple; “just do it”
That approach is what makes dreams happen, ticks off bucket list, and is how Fareedah has excelled in her career.
