India doesn't have a folklore problem. It has a documentation problem. Yakshas, Vetalas, Churels, Nagas โ€” these stories exist, but the internet can't find them. So I built LokKatha โ€” a structured archive of Indian folklore ๐Ÿ”— lokkatha.xyz #IndianFolklore #Mythology

I built my own Spotify-like music library ๐ŸŽต Not because Spotify is badโ€”but because I'm a very casual music listener. For me, Spotify's interface and controls often feel like an airplane cockpit ๐Ÿ˜…. Most of the time I'd just listen to music on YouTube. The problem? I would hear an amazing song, forget its name a few days later, and then spend forever trying to find it again. Most of the time I had to hope YouTube recommended it back to me. I've forgotten so many songs I genuinely loved because of this. So I built LogPose. โœจ Features: โ€ข Import your liked songs from YouTube โ€ข Download music through yt-dlp โ€ข Upload your own music files โ€ข Automatically fetch metadata (title, artist, album, cover art) โ€ข Organize your collection beautifully โ€ข Create your own playlists โ€ข Simple, clean interface focused on just listening No subscriptions. No algorithm deciding what I should hear. Just my music collection, organized the way I like it. It's also completely open source โค๏ธ ๐Ÿ”— github.com/everydaycodings/lโ€ฆ Would love to hear your thoughts and feature suggestions! #opensource #python #music #selfhosted #buildinpublic #github #webdev

I finally get to say this... Glyph is live. ๐Ÿš€ glyph.everydaycodings.com I built Glyph because I've always hated that almost every messaging app asks for your phone number or email before you can even say "hi." So I wondered... What if your identity was just a seed phrase? That's exactly what Glyph does. Your seed phrase generates the cryptographic keys that encrypt every message. The server only stores scrambled ciphertext, so not even Iโ€”the person who built itโ€”can read your chats. A few things I'm really excited about: ๐Ÿ” No phone number. No email. ๐Ÿ’ฌ End-to-end encrypted by default. ๐Ÿ“ฑ Install it like an app (PWA). ๐ŸŒ™ Built for dark mode from day one. ๐Ÿ“ถ Works offline for onboarding, identity, and lock screen. ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Self-hostable with an open backend. And yes, the name comes from One Piece. ๐Ÿ˜„ The Poneglyphs are ancient encrypted writings that only the right people can decode. That felt like the perfect name for an app where only you hold the key. This is just v1, and I'd genuinely love to hear what you think. Try it, break it, tell me what sucks, tell me what you'd add. Every bit of feedback helps โค๏ธ

Working on a hobby project called Glyph. The goal: messaging without phone numbers, emails, or traditional accounts. Your identity lives in a seed phrase that only you hold, and messages are end-to-end encrypted by default. A lot left to build, but here's the current state ๐Ÿ‘‡ #buildinpublic #opensource #privacy

Today's Vani report humbled me ๐Ÿ˜‚ I always thought I spoke at a normal pace. Reality: โ€ข 99 words/min โ€ข Flat vocal energy โ€ข Moderate intonation That's the fun part of building tools for communicationโ€”you end up learning a lot about your own habits too. getvani.xyz

Exactly. AI is turning into a geopolitical weapon, not just a productivity tool. US export controls on Fable 5 & Mythos 5 show how fast access can disappear based on nationality. Every country (and every serious dev) needs to prioritize sovereign/open-source models now. Relying entirely on foreign frontier labs is high risk.
This is an alarm for every single country and coders. You might or might not have access to best tools in future

Tried Buldak Carbonara ramen today ๐Ÿœ It was pretty decent, but I think I've finally accepted that my Indian taste buds are loyal to Maggi ๐Ÿ˜… #buldak #ramen

๐ŸŽ™๏ธ Built Pronunciation Lab in Vani. Most speaking apps tell you what's wrong. Pronunciation Lab helps you fix it. After every session, Vani identifies the sounds and words you struggle with most and creates personalized practice sessions around them. โœจ Practice words you're weak at ๐Ÿ” See exactly which sounds need work ๐Ÿ“Š Track improvement over time ๐ŸŽฏ Focus on your actual mistakes, not random exercises No generic lessons. No one-size-fits-all practice. Just targeted pronunciation training built around your speech. What feature should I build next for Vani? ๐Ÿ‘‡ #buildinpublic #AI #EdTech #LanguageLearning #SpeakingSkills #IndieHackers

๐ŸŽ‰ Just build a new feature in Vani! Ever finished a speaking session and wondered: "What exactly did I do well?" "Where am I losing marks?" "Am I actually improving?" Now you don't have to guess. ๐Ÿ“Š Every session now gets its own detailed report, showing: โœจ Performance scores ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ Speaking mistakes ๐Ÿ“ˆ Progress insights ๐Ÿ’ก Personalized feedback to help you improve faster My goal with Vani isn't just to help people practice speakingโ€”it's to make improvement visible. Every session. Every mistake. Every bit of progress. What would you want to see in a speaking report? ๐Ÿ‘‡ #buildinpublic #AI #EdTech #SpeakingSkills #SaaS #IndieHackers

Productivity hack that actually works: Stop chasing 'perfect focus'. Build systems that work even when motivation is zero. 1. Deep work blocks (no notifications) 2. 2-hour rule: If it takes <2 min, do it now 3. End your day by planning tomorrowโ€™s top 3 tasks Whatโ€™s your best productivity trick as a developer? ๐Ÿ‘‡ #Productivity #Coding #100DaysOfCode"

Hey everyone! ๐Ÿ‘‹ Iโ€™ve been quietly building something Iโ€™m really excited about: Vani ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ Thatโ€™s why I created Vani โ€” your personal speaking companion. Whether itโ€™s casual daily conversations, crushing job interviews, delivering powerful public talks, or nailing your startup pitchโ€ฆ Vani is here to help you practice, get instant feedback, and actually see your progress. Itโ€™s still very early, but I just dropped a small demo below ๐Ÿ‘‡ Iโ€™d love to hear from you: What speaking situation do you struggle with the most?

After coding every single day for 4 years, here are the brutal truths no one tells you in 2026: 1. 80% of your time is reading & debugging messy code, not writing new stuff. 2. The best devs copy-paste shamelessly โ€” but they understand every line. 3. Clean code is overrated. Working, documented, shippable code wins. 4. LeetCode stops mattering after your first job. Shipping fast and not breaking production does. 5. Write your commit message before you code. It kills most bugs early. Consistency beats talent. Every. Single. Time. The devs who โ€œmade itโ€ arenโ€™t smarter. They just didnโ€™t quit when it got boring. Whatโ€™s your biggest brutal truth about coding? Drop it ๐Ÿ‘‡
