Amble cofounder Julian Hoenig says they've received 1,000 preorders for its premium, street-legal electric golf cart in their first 3 days. Hoenig previously worked in design at Apple under Jony Ive, plus Audi and Lamborghini. Amble's CTO came from F1.

golf carts are simply the best way to get around in a city. ignore the motorheads who tell you otherwise we've long needed a new form factor on golf carts to have this opinion go mainstream. it looks like we now have teams from ex-apple, rivian, audi, and more all working on it, i'm so excited!

This makes more sense to me than the Jony Ive Ferrari It integrates both Apple and Audi (the Luce doesn’t seem like a Ferrari) and it has a very clear ICP: boomers with money who golf, live in golf courses or retirement communities, and/or shouldn’t be driving real cars anymore

Amble is our most recent investment. Julian was Audi R8 and Audi A4 designer before joining Apple a long time ago; Adrien was formerly Cowboy CEO. This vehicle is positioned to sell into hospitality for now, with consumer orders after that. I was able to drive the vehicle in Portugal earlier this year and it’s really a fun beach cruiser.
