Key Proposals at ICC AGM 2026 in Edinburgh (The Guardian): 1. Shorten the length of ODIs. 2. Introduce fixed scheduling windows for Tests, ODIs and T20Is. 3. Promote more multi-team series. 4. Launch continental championships across regions. 5. Create a World Club T20 Championship for franchises. 6. Expand WTC to 12 teams (including Ireland, Zimbabwe, Afghanistan). 7. Allow one-Test series to count for WTC points. 8. Introduce a two-tier Test system.

You just can't have these many knockouts stages for a sport where one country dominates the viewership Imagine cricket has knockouts for super 32 and india gets out in the first round. Whole viewership will be down and both Star Sports and ICC will go into debt 😭

Knockout sport is the absolute best. It’s so sad that cricket world cups nowadays have only semi finals and finals as knockout games.

This was one of the reason he become an absolute monster is this format. It always looks like you'll get him out LBW with that technique of him but with his crazy reflexes and hand eye coordination he never used to get out. Till you change the line, he gets set and plays long.

I absolutely loved Bethell's inning yesterday. Played a proper kohlisque knock in a run chase. Played second fiddle when Harry was attacking then found singles with Banton. Found the one weakness and went absolute berserk in his over to end the game

Buttler has been washed and Salt never took international cricket seriously. The early ECB realise it, the more it will be better for English cricket. They should bring in Cox, Jamie or Rew as soon as possible.
