Ring laser gyros and their kin are pretty nifty. They also are so accurate they detect Absolute Rotation. (Rotation *is not* relative in our universe!) This caused a confusing bug when they were developed because the gyro would "flip 180 degrees" every 12 hours.

Sometimes reality is crazier than science fiction. This is the international space station, carrying humans, passing between my spot in the desert and the moon. This video was slowed down significantly, as the ISS was only in my field of view for about 150ms

I don't like connectors that require pcb edge changes, cause I can't save that into the footprint clearly and will always require secondary operation after bringing parts in from the schematic.

Flood your vias over. It doesn't make any sense to use thermal relief wagon wheels on vias. just stop it. In this pcb you see them flooded on one layer and wagon wheeled on the other 🫣

I don't know how needs to hear this, but that big pad in the middle of your IC is a thermal relief pad. I should be tied to your ground but not for electric connection. The purpose is to pull the head away from your chip, add multiple vias in this area to act as a heat sink

Ask your PCB manufacturer to provide you their scraped pcb of your boards as solder samples. Solder samples are useful for thermal profiling test runs.

These power switching footprints are so annoying! They are this way for a reason, but implementing the interface between the PCB and the chip is annoying in design, and I remember them not wanting to set down consistently during assembly.
