Celebrating 250 years of the American Story—and the brightest days are still ahead! ☀️🇺🇸

250 years ago, a generation of patriots risked everything to establish a nation founded on liberty, self-government, and opportunity. Since then, American workers and job creators have transformed that promise into the greatest nation on earth. As @POTUS said last night, America is the story of “men and women rising by their own skill and talent to go further and reach higher than anyone has ever gone before.” Today, we celebrate that legacy and look forward to continued prosperity as America enters a new Golden Age. Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸

250 years ago, 56 patriots signed the Declaration of Independence. They weren’t politicians — they were farmers, merchants, physicians, lawyers, and craftsmen. Their courage paved the way for 250 years of American innovation, industry, and opportunity.

This Independence Day, millions will celebrate America’s 250th birthday in Washington, D.C., and thanks to @POTUS, they’ll see a capital that is beautiful once again. Just steps from the U.S. Capitol, the Frances Perkins Building stood as another example of Washington’s decline for far too long. Under President Trump, we’re proving that decline is a choice. At @USDOL, we’re doing our part by cleaning the Frances Perkins Building’s exterior for the first time in nearly FIFTY years. America is the greatest nation on Earth, and under President Trump, our nation’s capital reflects that once again. 🇺🇸

Last week, I was with @POTUS in Pennsylvania at @MackTrucks and I saw firsthand the tremendous positive impact of the Working Families Tax Cuts on American manufacturing and livelihoods. American Workers are building again and they’re doing it with more money in their pockets. 🇺🇸
