This year’s H-1B season is wrapping up, and we’re seeing great results from @POTUS’ new policies that prioritize America First! Stay tuned for more updates, but here’s what we’re seeing so far: ✅More top talent: We’re approving more applicants with advanced degrees and higher salaries—especially those who studied at U.S. universities. An overwhelming 71.5% of selected aliens hold a U.S. master’s degree or higher, compared to 57% last year. ✅Stronger workforce: These skilled workers are making a real impact on our economy and we’re closing the door on the low-wage and low-skilled foreign labor pipeline approved under Biden administration policies. This year, only 17.7% of all selected registrations were in the lowest wage category. ✅Restoring integrity: The number of properly submitted registrations plummeted by 38.5%, from 343,981 in fiscal year 2026 to just 211,600 in fiscal year 2027. This data is a clear sign that the days of abusing the program with mass, low-wage registrations are over, and that the program is better serving its intended purpose of attracting highly skilled foreign workers and protecting the wages, working conditions, and job opportunities of American workers. When I became @USCIS Director, I inherited a staggering backlog of asylum cases: 1.5 million—up from 400k in 2021. That was the result of 4 years of unchecked crossings at the border because the previous president didn’t care who they let into our homeland. This @POTUS cares.

The lengths the Biden administration went to in order to ignore the pervasive fraud in our immigration system are staggering. Today, under the Trump administration, @USCIS is proud to deploy dedicated special agents to specifically investigate, expose, & eliminate this fraud.

The Biden administration knew exactly what they were doing when they opened the floodgates, let everyone come in, and reduced our standards of screening and vetting to the point they were meaningless. Under @POTUS and @SecMullinDHS, we’re correcting that for the American people.

Under @POTUS & @SecMullinDHS, @USCIS is making sure only those who meet all requirements & pose no threat to national security are granted Green Cards & citizenship. These benefits are an honor & privilege, & we’re making sure they go only to those who truly qualify.

We’re cleaning up after the Biden admin, where criminals got an open door into the US through our legal immigration system. We’re reviewing past immigration determinations & correcting them as necessary. The shutdown of @DHSgov undermines that work & puts all Americans at risk.

Fraud permeates our entire immigration system. Our new @USCIS special agents will ensure there are consequences for this type of fraud. No one is entitled to immigration benefits & naturalization. Immigration to the U.S. is an honor & we will make sure it’s done correctly.

Our primary mission is to keep Americans safe. Despite challenges from radical, activist judges, we remain committed to protecting this country. Keeping America safe is our charge—and we will do it unapologetically.

Our message is clear: If you hope to become a lawful resident or American citizen, you must show that you can take care of yourself. There is no reason to admit aliens to the U.S. who would unfairly burden American taxpayers.
